We are regular customers since we live in the area. Our Schnauzer stays here when we go on holiday. They take the dogs quickly to avoid anxiety but honestly he is always wagging his tail when we arrive. When we pick him up he is super excited to see us and we can see he is happy. His behaviour and routine returns to normal immediately at home after his time here and I feel like that's how I know he feels secure when visiting the kennels.

Bad experience! They took our dog straight from our car, without even greeting us or asking anything about our dog. we didn’t even get to see where he would be staying. It did not feel at all like a family run loving business it felt like a factory. We were told we would be sent photos and requested when we were away, but never got any. Picked up our dog, they said nothing about his stay and again they put him straight into the car. Gave us our bill, gave no feedback of his time there. Within 15 minutes of having our dog in the car we could see he was not well. He had constant diarrhoea, very fatigued and dehydrated, his tongue and gums were a totally different colour. Upon our long drive back to Cape Town after stopping for him to have diarrhoea we took him straight to an emergency vet after hours. A R3000 vet bill and days of getting him back to himself. He was diagnosed with congestion and dehydration. Never again! Ask to see where your pet will be sleeping! This is highly not recommended! No photos of kennels, no access to kennels for owners. Beware!!!

Super friendly staff. When I come drop off my dog for the kennel, he bolts over to the staff and wags his tail, clearly happy to be there. They’ve got lots of green space and seem to take good care of the animals. Would definitely recommend.

You got to try it out. Yoda (our Pekingese) was so happy, this says a lot. I even parked my car in a safe place. The people are friendly and definitely care about our fur buddies. Definitely worth it ☺️☺️🪷

Very professional lady that helped us with our adoption. The kennels are well maintained and equipped with toys food and bedding. The cleanest kennels I have ever seen and the adoption process was very easy and professional. I would urge people to make donations of any kind food, bedding, money into their trust account or to take any donations to them. They do good for our community and the babies and animals are so peaceful at the kennels. The energy there felt of love, care and support. Thank you for my cat 🐈‍⬛ we called her penny because she is so small. She is already loved. Hope our donation helped. ♥️see you soon

The most beautiful animal carer's we were and more over our little Sparkle was so happy. We picked her up sparkling clean smelling like a flower. Even her blanket was clean. Bless you wonderful ladies Sparkie will see you sooon

Barnyard is the best kennels to take care of one's animals. Everybody very friendly and helpful. Bella never stressed when we fetch her after her stay. Lovely place. Recommend it strongly.
