The Crazy Store Pepper Grove Mall

I have to say the prices are very good, but the treatment from the male cashier this morning was really disappointing, and quite surprising. A young man I expected (maybe this was my mistake), to be friendly, fair and just kind (another mistake on my part - clearly). When I entered the store, I had a smile on my face, thinking it was simply the right thing to do, you know, when dealing with people? But the cashier first tells me his cash register does not work. But hardly a minute later, two private school girls enter and he helps them at the same cash register. He then thanks the kids and says goodbye to them with a smile on his face. Interestingly enough, the only thing I get after I say thank you to him and his colleague (just being grateful for the service - despite my misgivings towards him), is a blank stare. That was until I almost forced the words out of him. All I expected was a simple thank you, like he did to the other customers. I left Crazy Store really disappointed this morning. My impression is that this young man thinks highly of certain people and has the opposite view of others. Very sad. I don't know if I will enter the Crazy Store ever again after today's experience.

I bought a thumbs up cup for R30 which is very cheap and the quality was very nice. I really love this place and will 100% come back to buy another mug for my father's day gift!
