The ladies at the front desk were extremely compassionate, caring and supportive during an emergency. They are highly professional and show real love for animals here, as well as reasonably priced!

We took our beautiful babies here for years, really not knowing better. Our little baby was left on antibiotics for over 6 months - we were not made aware of this because she was on so much other chronic medication and the vet never once even checked what we were giving her. This made her more sick She would spontaneously start choking every 10 or so, and when we took her to get checked, the vet said "it’s reverse sneezing", actually she had a swollen heart that was crushing her lungs which they didn’t even suggest doing an xray for. It was only when we took her for a second opinion to Kempton Park that we figured out the above 2 points. The lack of empathy is really heart breaking to not even give an actual diagnosis and to keep such a cute small thing on antibiotics for that period of time which was just making her worse

I am extremely disappointed with the care my dog received at Avenues Vet. My 12-year-old Maltese poodle presented with sudden onset pain, a hunched back, crying when moving and weakness in her front leg. Despite these clear neurological red flags, we were not given urgency, adequate explanation, or a clear plan for escalation. She was sent home still in significant pain, and her condition worsened. I learned that these symptoms are consistent with a spinal disc emergency, which should have been treated with far greater urgency. I feel her pain was not taken seriously, and this caused unnecessary suffering and distress. I would urge the practice to reassess how neurological cases are handled, especially in senior dogs. Sadly, I cannot recommend this clinic based on our experience and I have been going there forever with all my dogs.

I've been taking my dogs here for about 10 years now and all the vets are so helpful and compassionate. I especially appreciate the courtesy call a few days later after my dog has gone in and they may have been concerned. That level of care is why I keep going back.

The doctors are friendly, professional and always willing to help no matter the circumstances. We have been fortunate enough to have dealt with every doctor at the practice, with no complaints! The reception staff are very professional and always manage to get us an appointment. Five stars to everyone!
