Lovely market for a day out with the family. Lots of delicious foods snacks and drinks available. Parking is a problem as there is only roadside parking available so you defenitely would need to arrive very early.
The Musgrave Market was relatively quiet .... Beautiful setting under trees ... One one coffee option. .flat white rating 3/10.... The fresh vegetables were well priced and worth the buy. Food options are not that great...live 🎵.... Cool vibe
This market is ideal for antiques and rare germs. Every time I visit KZN from jhb I make a turn there and I'm never disappointed. I recently lost a unique pendant and chain my wife bought me at Old Biscuit Mill in CT and I found the exact replica at Musgrave Market. Life music is also refreshing for a Saturday outing. Sadly La Bella, the vibrant restaurant and pub next to the market, at corner St. Thomas and Stephen Dlamini rds, is closed. We used to watch games there. I guess covid happened.
A great place to be at with the variety of food, clothing stalls, sweets, face painting, Biltong etc etc...held every Saturday.
Fresh air and live music create a great atmosphere for a relaxed stroll around a variety of food stalls , ranging from desserts , to American style food, seafood, wors rolls, Pani puri, Pancakes, onto fresh produce and arts and crafts . There really is something for everyone. A great family outing. The stalls change every time I visit which is great to see something different everytime. Detroit smoke house is one of my faves to return to. Seating Is available. Pets seem to be welcome too 🙂 be sure to carry cash and have a zappa app became some vendors only trade this way , but most do take card 🙂
The Musgrave Market is such a lovely place to spend the day with either family or friends. There are a wide variety of stalls and the food that we bought looked and tasted amazing. The atmosphere is amazing and so enjoyable and there is live music to enjoy. There's plenty of tables and chairs and there was also kids tables and chairs set up with colouring books and crayons set in it. Be sure to try the ice cream as well, it was so tasty😋 My family and I cannot wait to go again to try out the other food stalls.
