Cats Whiskers

Absolutely stunning.. peaceful... just what you need half way from the Cape... spacious rooms and wooden floors welcomes you....the nostalgic ambience from an era long gone draw you to the beautiful bedrooms... cozy fireplace inside and large porch take you the private backyard!! What a nice surprise!!

The house is situated in a quiet street with beautiful old houses. It is, however quite near the unattractive market area. A beautiful old train bridge separates the housing area from the more industrial area. Once you travel through the bridge, peace and tranquility steps in. The house lets you in to a private space, secluded from the outside. Tranquil space. Well-kept old home. Beautifully furnished. Old house with modern clean amenities. Everything we needed, and much more!

Amazing Service from Alecia! I will hopefully be able stay at your guesthouse on my next trip.

Cats Whiskers is a hidden gem! Beautiful accommodation, comfortable, spacious and clean. Attention has been given to every detail including fresh flowers and home baked treats. Well done Alecia, we will definitely be back!

Wonderful! We had a lovely 2-night stay at the Cats Whiskers during October '23. It is very well equipped, with excellent attention to detail for a very comfortable stay. The communication from Alecia prior to arrival and during our stay was excellent and the advice helped a lot with planning. Would love to return!

What a gem! We drove from Namibia and booked at nr99 on a late Sunday afternoon. Within 10mins they were ready for us. Absolutely beautiful! Special touches such as fresh flowers, complimentary biscuits, rusks, snackbars, juice, coffee, milk, water, wood...you name it! Loved the honesty bar as the bottle stores were closed by the time we got there. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back. Thank you so much! Marius & Lorraine.
