Best experience with my daughter's horse riding lessons at Sunny Park Stables. Clean well kept yard and stables. Would recommend to anyone interested in some lessons
Our daughter has been riding at Sunny Park Stables for a year now, and we could not be happier. From the very beginning, she was immediately taken under the wing of the warm and friendly staff members. They have been so patient and encouraging with her, and it has been a joy to watch her progress. She started out not knowing anything about riding, but now she is jumping like a pro, thanks to her instructor Nicky! More importantly, she is having a lot of fun, loves spending time with the horses, and making new friends. We would highly recommend Sunny Park Stables. The staff are knowledgeable and experienced, the horses are well-cared for, and the facilities are top-notch. Our daughter is always looking forward to her lessons, and we have witnessed her confidence grow with each visit. It has been a wonderful experience for her, and we are so grateful to have found Sunny Park.
We went for our introduction with Brian and Lovemore yesterday. As a lifelong wannabe rider I have spent my fair share doing lessons on and off over the years at various stables in Pretoria, the Free State and here in Benoni. That being said, I was blown away by Sunny Park Stables. Apart from being exceptionally clean, the staff that worked there were all extremely friendly and welcoming, proud as punch of all the horses there and eager to introduce us to all of them. We even saw the new addition, and what a gorgeous foal! The horses were all so well mannered! Beyond what I have ever experienced. Apart from being gorgeous they were all friendly, curious and calm (everyone has a biter, but yours seemed mildly annoyed rather than murderous.) Brian and Lovemore were really proud of the stables and to work there. What a remarkable place, it exceeded all my expectations.
My daughter's happy place, love to visit all the horses especially Oxo.
They cater more to the "elite" riders of Benoni than your everyday "I absolutely love riding more than anything else" kind of person. Not a bad thing necessarily, however I would not recommend them for beginners or young riders just starting out.
R450 for a 30-minute horse ride is exorbitant.
Awesome place. You can ride any time of the day, no restrictions. They are so child friendly, and riders of all levels get the best jumping tuition (I know out of experience)
