Jameson Park

We loved every bit of the park. To be honest we never thought it was for public yet I have lived in Durban for 54yrs. All our lives it's been Mitchell's park but it was closed so we tried acroos from them and we never made that mistake. It was empty and the good thing is , we could watch our kids play infront of us, we did a few runs though lol, but for sure it is clean, the kids played with the dogs who were on leashes, we went there for my 54th birthday last year, which fell on Easter Sunday. We had our Easter egg hunt. It was fun for us and the kids, we did a colour theme, we also put up some Easter decor which wasn't much, just for the egg hunt. Relaxed day it was. Blankets, pillows chairs, just to relax. I was so thrilled to see other people coming in just to relax. Now that's what I love. You need to have an open mind and create your own fun for you and your kids when you go to that park. The day is for you and your kids not just for the kids. You also need fun with them. Recommend it anytime. Thank you for keeping the park clean and neat. BTW, no problem with the toilets. That's a biiig yes for me. Enjoy when you pop in but always go with an open mind.

It's very quite and very clean , to even have walk with your dog. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take pictures

A wonderful dog park where the dogs are all friendly and play nicely. I wish some people would pick up after their dogs more but it’s a wonderful place to socialize your pet.

Lovely pleasant evening sitting out in the field in deck chair listening to good music.

The park was very well maintained when we were there. Toilet facilities could do with an upgrade though. Very popular park for walking dogs.

The tree of light was quite something. The park was very clean and it was such a pleasure to be apart of the festivities

Dog friendly yet the sign outside says not dog friendly.
