SPCA Brakpan

Hands down the best SPCA ever! What a wonderful team who really have a passion for animals. I got my baby through them about a month ago and I cannot express enough how professional, kind and down to earth these ladies are. Thank you for all the hard work that you do, all the effort and love that goes into your branch, it truly shows you are in it for all the right reasons. Highly recommend!

Fun Family day at Brakpan SPCA today. Cutest puppies here, playing happily with each other. Cats roaming around, very friendly and well looked after.

Been supporting & adopting from the Brakpan SPCA for years. They're amazing at what they do and the animals always come first ♥️ They really do what they can with the limited funds/vehicles they have availabile. The Brakpan SPCA takes on all types of donations, whether it's food, money or your time. Every little bit helps 😺🐶

My experience with Brakpan Spca is not pleasant at all. The guy who helped us today was rushing us after we just lost our dog in our arms on the way to the Spca and then he told us to throw the dog in the black bag he grap the black out my hands and closed it and threw it in the freezer since we got there he gave us attitude never in my life would I help and support you guys again after what your employer did to us I feel bad for the dogs I hope he doesn't treat them as bad as it have treated us. We just Lost our dog and this is the treatment we get I am so disgusted by what I have witnessed

The Brakpan SPCA took my dogs out of my yard with a warrant, that we did not see or know about, based upon the animal act no 71 of 1962. This act basically protects animals against all kind of abuse. We do not abuse our animals, they were not underfed, they are healthy, well fed, with shiny coats. They received a complaint from a neighbor. They had no legal grounds or rights to take my animals as there as no sign of abuse or ill treatment.

My experiance with Brakpan Spca is not pleasant at all. We visited them to get a new dog as our big dog was either poisend but it was stolen aswell. We were told that they will do a home visit. This is the 1st time in 40 years it happened to us. This morning i phoned to find out when the home visit will be done I was told that they are sceptic to give us a dog because our dog was poisend and we must install laserbeams. Have you ever in your life experience such a thing. They forever complaining people must adopt animals but if this is the way they going forward im not interested in Brakpan Spca. I will go somewhere else. .
