Gee Dogg Training

Thank you Gary for helping with my boerboel pups. They are becoming disciplined, happy dogs. Gary is a firm handler that truly helps us understand our dogs in a loving way. We got results from the first training session and my pups enjoyed it very much. If you are looking for the best trainer...look no further...stop searching and go with Gary. Thank you a million Varsha 😊 and Bugzy and Nala... Class of 2026

We've been training with Gary over 5 years - 2 male Rotties since 3 and 5 months old - and what an incredible journey. Gary has been amazing, his guidance and encouragement has resulted in 2 wonderful dogs and a human that has learnt so much about her boys and herself. Karen, Beau and Hardy can attest to the awesomeness of Gary!!

I live 45 minutes away from the Natal Rottweiler Association. I travel to train my Rottie with Gary Nel because he is truly an expert in his field. His no nonsense approach to ensuring a safe handler, and trained dog, is what we appreciate the most. I belive that his credibility as a trainer is imparted to my credibility as a handler and for that we are grateful. There are SO many "trainers" out there but Gary is one who helps me become a good handler which in turn results in a well trained dog. If you have trust in the credibility of the trainer, you can have trust that you have a well trained dog.

Gary at Gee Dogg Training is an absolute professional when it comes to canine behaviour and obedience training. With a wealth of experience, particularly in handling Rottweilers through his involvement with the NRA (Natal Rottweiler Association), Gary's expertise shines through in every session. What sets Gary apart is his versatility; he doesn't just specialize in one breed, but instead, he adeptly handles dogs of all shapes and sizes. Whether it's a tiny Chihuahua or a towering Great Dane, Gary's methods are tailored to suit the unique needs of each individual dog. His approach is rooted in patience, understanding, and positive reinforcement, creating a harmonious learning environment for both the dog and the owner. It's evident that Gary is passionate about what he does, and his dedication to helping dogs reach their full potential is truly commendable. If you're in need of professional dog training services, I highly recommend reaching out to Gary at Gee Dogg Training. Whether you're looking to address behavioural issues, enhance obedience skills, or simply strengthen the bond with your furry friend, Gary is the one to trust. Don't hesitate to get in touch with him – you won't be disappointed.

Gary Nel recently came to my home to assist me in training my reactive dog. I live on an estate and was afraid my neighbours would soon start complaining about her unruly behaviour. Constantly growling and barking at people walking by, jumping up on people and ignoring all commands from me. From the start, Gary could read exactly where I was going wrong and rectify her behaviour. He is totally professional with a vast knowledge of canine behaviour and (may I add) the owner's behaviour. 😁. He was firm but patient and kind and I now have a far better behaved canine companion. Everyone on the estate has remarked on the difference. I can highly recommend Gary. The training was worth every cent.

My beautiful Peanut has been with "Gee dogg training" since she was a pup. She use to be a shy little dog, but with continues training she turned into the most Amazing Roti ever. Thnx to all the hard work on the field an the "homework " we are given 😀

Gary is absolutely a great dog trainer, not only does he have great knowledge of different dog breeds but can also see what makes them tick and then give great advice on how to handle it. We started with a 9 month old male bull terrier pup who had a lot of energy, OCD and was very stubborn. After just a few sessions we saw a big behavioral difference in him, still stubborn but so much calmer and actually listens. We thought we would never get through to him. Would highly recommend Gary!
