Keurboom Park

Lovely place to take a walks, cycle and jog. Highly recommended. The walk can be longer or shorter depending on how much time you have.

Great for kids; has a separate toddler playground and other multiple play areas scattered throughout. Also has working bathrooms next to the toddler play area which are reasonably clean. They don't always have toilet paper so bring your own.

Enjoyable, relaxing park with enough space for everyone. Love the big and tall trees. Reasonably well kept and appears to be free of vagrants. But caution is always advised. The public toilets were clean and water was available outside for drinking from a fountain.

I’ve been going to Keurboom park for 24 years, since my son was born. I love it! Even though I’m not a dog owner (my kitties wouldn’t appreciate it 😜), I sometimes take my friend’s Labrador. There are loads of people at any given time so safe and it is well-maintained. Venture a bit further along the path to the Rondebosch Boys’ School fields and you’ll have the best mountain view. Oh, and don’t forget to grab a coffee from the little coffee van. Whether solo or in a group, doggy or not, you’ll relish the beauty of this urban oasis.

For those of us outside CBD this is a hidden Gem, apparently also amazing Pokemon Go hunting grounds as well as plethora of fields trees and a lovely coffee stand. Great for Dog Walking, Casual sports and exercise, lovely scenery!

This is a beautiful very clean and well maintained park, with natural habitat. It is ideal for walking your dogs(they are allowed off-leash under supervision)Poo baggies are supplied at various points in the park and there are plenty of bins, which is emptied on a regular basis.Great for your daily excercise, be it walking or running or taking the kiddies to play. Very safe and peaceful.

Absolutely love visiting Keurboom Park in Rondebosch — such a peaceful and well-kept green space in Cape Town. Great for walks, picnics, and letting dogs enjoy the off-leash areas. The kids’ playgrounds are fun and safe, and the whole park feels welcoming and clean. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature right in the suburbs!
