Woodrock Cat Café

What a wonderful kitty haven. So clean and welcoming!! You feel immediately relaxed when you enter the cat cafe. It's so beautiful and the cats are all adorable. We ordered delicious food, bought some cat merchandise and took photos with the cats.......and gave them lots of love ❤️ of course. The staff are super friendly and totally in love with the cats. They're very loved and well looked after. Adoption is available at Woodrock Animal Rescue which is part of the cafe. Worth visiting!!!

Such a beautiful place to interact with cats 🐾 There’s an entrance fee of R125 per person, and knowing that all the money goes directly towards caring for the cats makes it even more worthwhile, such a good cause. Once you enter the play area, you remove your shoes and are free to stay for as long as you like (open from 9am to 5pm). The space is thoughtfully designed and perfect for the cats to play, relax, and interact. You can even virtually adopt (sponsor) a cat, which is such a lovely touch. There’s also a small section where you can eat, drink, or even work from if you’d like. The waitresses are incredibly friendly, and the cats are clearly very attached to them - following them around everywhere, which is both adorable and a true sign of how well the cats are cared for. Despite there being around 20 cats, the place doesn’t smell at all. Will definitely be back for that serotonin boost 😍🐱

What a great place for the rescue cats! They’re well looked after, it’s great environment for them and many are really friendly and playful. Such a great experience with my partner! We both went to a cat cafe in Tokyo as our first experience and the Woodrock Cat Cafe is by far better.

All the cats were curious and very friendly. Not pick up and cuddle friendly but still. Best to get there as they open, the cats are awake and engaging. They all tend to go and do what cats do best, and that is sleep after about 10h45. Still a great outing.

Took my husband there as a surprise for our anniversary and we loved it. Cats aren't starved for attention so they might ignore you. Staff are friendly and helpful. There were people with small children and it seems like a great place to take your child to interact with animals in a cozy and safe environment.

Lovely environment, good internet, good food with reasonable prices, well behaved cats, friendly and compassionate staff. A place for effective productivity as well as calm relaxation. Highly recommend

So magic! Had an absolute blast. The layout is adorable and very suitable for the cats. There’s so many different beds and toys to allow the best experience for both you and the cats. The staff are all super friendly and more than happy to answer any questions. The cats were adorable, playful and well looked after. Absolutely great cause and so excited to see the cafe grow in the future
