Glen Eden Farm Entrance 2

We stayed at the pixie which is a 2 bedroom unit (each double bed was in a separate unit with stacking doors), the kitchen was in a unit outside and then there was a sitting area to eat outside with a braai area, fire pit to chill around and the bonus was the fired- hot tub which was amazing at night. ||||The bedroom had everything from bath towels, hand towels, fan, heater, mosquito nets against the doors, mosquito plug in with the peaceful slept disc that you can pop into the wall plug to keep mosquitoes away. The bedding was 10% cotton and the pillows was feather down pillows so sleep was amazing. The only downfall was the bed was almost against the stacking doors so was difficult to walk in the unit which resulted in us falling over the bed many times as the unit was very small as it was almost the size of the double bed.||||Kitchen- the kitchen had a 2 plate gas stove, whistle kettle and a decent size mini fridge. The kitchen is stocked with crockery and cutlery as well as pots, pans and a braai dish. It came with sugar, tea and coffee. Bonus was the washing liquid, sponge, dry cloth all the little bits that one would forget for self catering when in a rush. A really thoughtful add on was they gave candle holders with 2 long candles which we used at night and I used in the kitchen while cooking as there was a 1 or 2 irritating flies. ||||The place is very clean and before we arrived they sprayed for the ants as the ants are huge, like huge but there was still a number of ants so sitting with our picnic mat on the grass was a no no. The hot tub is great, take about 1 and half bags to heat up the pool to the perfect hot temperature. In the day it's hot and not a lot of covering apart from the sitting area so wish they had an umbrella that could be used over the hot tub so kids can splash in the tub without getting exhausted from being in the sun all day.||||The bathroom is communal with showers separate from the toilets. These are all separate and super clean as they have cleaners who are constantly cleaning. Bonus is its mineral water so skin felt really great after showering.||||Then the pools, water slides, jumping castle, hammocks was such a add on making it a real resort vibe with farm animals that you can see and watch them being feed twice a day. They have ice- cream, coffees, pizza, pancakes, breakfast, bar and free-range eggs for sale. ||||The staff was all friendly, helpful and the service was truly wonderful.||||Will definitely return again God-Willing.

We are staying at Avalon Springs and came across the archery advertisement in one of the brochures at the hotel. We booked via WhatsApp and were easily accomodated. The staff were wonderful. The gentleman that took us through the archery lesson was patient, knowledgeable and understanding and we had some yummy food afterward. The grounds are well kept with adorable farm animals roaming around. We are definitely looking into booking accommodation for our next getaway.

Our family absolutely loves Glen Eden. Glamping is our favourite, it’s neat, clean, smells great, very comfortable and so pretty . The owners pay attention to detail. and I love the convenience of the restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious and value for money

Absolutely loved our stay! The entire place is beautiful, and very family orientated. It was amazing, and we were so happy to have our dogs with us too. The box of teas was such a special touch!

Waking up to a donkey bray was greater than an alarm clock, loved every sound of the animals. This was an amazing experience! I will definitely come back to the farm to explore more!

I went with my little family and we had a blast ! The locations, the accommodations and the entertainment for my little one was amazing. Memories was definitely made !

It was an amazing experience living at Glen Eden. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely stay at Glen Eden again in the future!
