What a nice park/garden in the middle of Johannesburg. Took the family for a stroll and ice-cream and the weather was great also. A nice garden with plenty of roses, a few interesting memorials/plaques a historical garden and then the dam itself. Plenty of space for picnics, play area for kids and quite a few ducks. Will definately go again

Was lovely, nice and clean, it was a pretty full day but there was plenty of space to just put down a blanket and re center. The Ice-cream was a bonus:)

Excellent! I love the JHB gardens. It is well maintained, and used by the public, making it a safe friendly environment. Also look out for the second-hand bookstore.

It's a beautiful and serene place that I like visiting from time to time. It's safe and relatively kept clean on a regular basis. There are bathrooms, it's safe and has a beautiful dam. Best of all, it's free! Go and have that picnic with your loved ones or go for a walk, jog or run. Highly recommend.

SUCH A DISAPPOINTING TIME. when you have been to the botanical gardens 🏡 n Durban and you come to this botanical garden in jhb you would think there would be beauty as along the roads many homes have better outside gardens than this place. Lots of trees, even a weed has become a tree which made us roar with laughter. The only flower we saw was one bush of stralitzers and a little water feature. Rather call it a park and put swings and slides for the kids there bec of you going to look at the flowers, sorry there aren't any.

A little oasis in the city. I visited a wonderful market there. Great artisans, lots of variety - jewelry, artwork, leathers, t-shirts, etc etc. And the FOOD!!! Something for everyone and it looked awesome!
