Robyn Park

Scenic walking, biking and dog friendly trail along the Jukskei River. Whether your kids have two feet or four paws they will love it just the same. The jungle gym and swing area is kept safe by a security guard in a look out post during the day. Hats off to the community that keeps this park maintained. Well done guys!

Lovely park. Very clean. Nice long stretch. Dogs enjoyed the walk. Security watching out for the cars. Only thing that put me off was the people washing their clothes and getting naked in public changing by the water.

Awesome little park in the area! "Operated" by Jhb City Parks and its in a good condition. Follows mostly the street and there is another section that continues to follow the river. Family and dog friendly. There is playground which appears to be well maintained (no rust). Always lots of people going for walks

Clean and a pleasant walking trail along the river for my son and puppy. Poop boxes along the trail for you to assist in keeping it poop free, ✌️ Some jungle gyms for the kids and an amazing bike track for youngsters. There is a guard on duty patrolling, thanks to Onamour!

Beautiful and safe park. Ever since they got rid of the constant church groups using the river, the park has felt serene, with incredible nature experiences

Stumbled upon this little gem once again thanks to Google Maps 🙂 I've been looking for new parks to take my child and dog to, in and around the Fourways area and this one popped up a mere 3.5km from home. It is a separate property from Juweel park a little further down and very well maintained. There are dustbins all round, the river is clean, there is a jungle gym and playground facility for the young ones that has been renovated to pristine condition, and there is even a bicycle track, walking path and little home set up for bats! Wow! When you consider the eco system around you I really take my hat off to you. Safety is a big issue in South Africa but I didn't once feel like this was an issue at this park. There are a couple of vagrants living further down the river under the bridge, and perhaps a troll (I'm not sure, I haven't ventured that far down yet, but if you listen to the stories of old...) but they seem to keep to themselves. There is also a bunch dedicated to dog waste so you've really got no excuse when it comes to cleaning up after your furry friend. I didn't notice any public bathrooms so keep that in mind before you visit, but this isn't one of those parks where you'd spend your whole day anyway so that shouldn't be a worry. All in all very happy I discovered this spot. If it's this pretty in the winter u can only imagine the beauty in the summer.

I like this park it's cool here, with security, the features are great. With Rocky areas, River flow and water falls, it's great, to bring your kids and family for picnic, and bicycle play. Will add more photos later on.
