Went there around 4pm to meet with a friend and i must say, the quietness there, fresh air under the trees. Not very clean but also not very dirty.
Used to be a clean and vibrant park in its heydays. Lately the municipality is trying to remove empty beer bottles and cut the overgrown grass. Looking much better.
The place is good and chilled nice fresh air
Highly recommended for any special occasion you have in mind be it with any relation group discription, this park is legit really hard to leave hey... no matter the weather it's always a great atmosphere to be in. Safe and clean and kids friendly.
The place to have great events and enjoy with friends and Family
I heard it used to be one of the best parks in soweto,but down the line they've been bad reports of people being mugged,raped and even killed.i guess it safer during the day but make sure you don't visit or pass through alone especially women and children
The event i was attending was fabulous , but safety is a concern as it gets dark cause its a park
