Westville Eco Trail

It's an excellent trail for mountain biking, but for walking, it's more on the easier side. The trail is quite well maintained so you don't need to walk through any tall grass. A lot of mosquitos at some areas, so make sure to use insect repellent beforehand. In terms of entry, it's R20 a person but we saw many people arrive after us who were not asked to pay and just entered. It also seems quite easy to enter at other spots on the trail so safety wise that is a bit worrying.

Didn't get the opportunity to do the 10k yet but definitely will soon, good trail with alot of biodiversity and water features. 7.6/10

Trails are lovely and very well marked out. There's a stream of grey water along the trail that smells absolutely dreadful, it did take away from the beauty of the walk which was a shame

Absolutely enjoyed the trail, perfect for cross country, trail running and also ideal for MTB riding. Loved the little river stream. Definitely will be back.

This is a terrible hike with lots of gaps in the fence along main roads and side walks. No need to pay to enter. Lots of noise from events happening on the multitude of sports fields and parks that surround the hike. The water is stagnant and filthy and stinks and cannot be touched. It’s really boring also and very narrow. Done steep and slippery down hills also on sandy paths
