Kingfisher Avenue Veterinary Clinic

The doctors and staff at this vet are absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in, everyone is friendly, caring, and professional. The vets take the time to explain everything clearly and treat each animal with so much kindness and patience. You can really see how much they care about their work and their patients. The support staff are just as wonderful — helpful, organized, and always welcoming. I feel completely confident bringing my pet here and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent veterinary care.

We had an emergency situation and brought our pet to this clinic, and I am beyond impressed with the level of care we received. The doctor on call was exceptional—calm, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain every step, answered all our questions, and treated our pet with such kindness and respect. The staff were also supportive and efficient. It’s comforting to know that there are professionals like this available when it matters most. I highly recommend this clinic

Excellent veterinary clinic! The staff is very friendly and helpful and Dr Gift is really compassionate and caring. The practice is clean and breathable, with a lot of space. I definitely would recommend this vet. Not everyone is willing to stay open after hours for emergencies, which makes this vet really convenient.

Thank you Dr Gift and team for helping Hartjie (turning 12 this year), during the weekend. We had an emergency with our Bull Terrier on Saturday. Rushed to Sunward Park Vet, who we've been for almost 12 years now - and they didn't even wanted to help us, no explanation, nothing!! With that being said, thank you for not wanting to help us!! We've found the Vet that really went out of his way to help Hartjie! This was our first time, and will definitely not be our last time visiting! With heavy hearts we had to leave Hartjie overnight at the clinic for observation on Saturday, Dr Gift also phoned us later to give an update! Dr Gift, you were worried about not being able to stitch her leg up, but you did an excellent job! Thank you, Dr Gift and team, out of our hearts!! We highly recommend Kingfisher Vet! Again, thank you!

Dr. Gift is an awesome vet! I took my cat, with a urinary blockage & he assisted me immediately without breaking the bank. I highly recommend this vet!

My 3 month old kitten snatched one of my sleeping pills- he is panting- runny tummy, distraught - we go to this vet and get to wait an hour and a half- when we ask cam he mot kust quickly take a look because he could go into a coma. No they tell us we must try germiston branCh they cant help us

I took my cat here and he said shes just constipated. I took her back home and she got weaker. Took her to another vet, she eventually passed away. Turns out it was her kidneys. Avoid Dr Gift at all costs!
