I really wish I saw these comments before. You need to stay away from this company. They ignore all my emails and phone calls don’t work. They’re simply not paying out any money owned for hospital expenses even though the hospital procedure was covered and accepted by them. I hope no one else wastes their money

Confusing rewards system, the apps are broken and glitchy, claiming rewards is a total gamble .. I got charged from my health saver but provider never received the money so then it’s back and forth with the Momentum call center taking hours to resolve Just frustration and headache with this companies poor IT infrastructure, hopelessly complex rewards structure I would never trust them with a travel booking to be honest, too much can go wrong Will be strongly considering discovery now or anyone else really

Online signup to medical aid is broken, spent time to complete the online forms, only for it not to finally submit(with no indication why its not working). But alas!, my infomation was shared with optivest immediately. Even before completing the momentum signup, optivest has sent me emails and whatsapp messages about contacting me later on. If you need competent software development management, reach out to me, Ill show you how its done correctly so that customers and potential customers have a great experience

Just 3 months in with this medical aid and problem after problem! Incompetent. Incorrect deductions, double deductions, excuses and more excuses. I was told my newborn would be covered for everything in hospital, but they are now giving us the run around. HUGE WASTE of my money. Cancelling and moving to a different provider, it couldn't get worse than this.

Had the worse experience of my life with Momentum. They take forever to get back to you and when you phone they ask for a ref number but never sent you one. I had to wait 3 week for them to get back to me about removing myself as main member and keep my daughter on. Always fighting. My gap cover was cancelled. Waited a month to just get my daughter registered and they wouldn't cover some of her hospital bill due to there being no pre authorization call but I was waiting for them to register her and unfortunately needed brain scans... They wanted so much information as to why I couldn't afford to keep myself as the main member and wanted reasons as to why it's due to financial reasons. Claims can never be paid back due to some odd reason and when submitting a claim they ask for the same things that were submitted. So incompetent. Wouldn't recommend.

If you have no other option for a medical aid, still don’t choose Momentum Health! I don’t even know where to start. Terrible customer service! They transferred me from department to department without giving any information that is needed, I believe this is a tactic to get you discouraged and give up on getting any help. Tried getting authorisation for a dental procedure. Today is the procedure, still no authorisation. No benefits for any dental procedures, just a waste of your time and money. An actual scam!

I tried to get authorisation for dental work for my daughter.Firstly when the dental practice called for authorisation, Stephen from Dental said my daughter was off benefit.When I called,a lady called Elmerentia confirmed she was still on benefit.When practice called again-Momentum declined to give authorisation. To say Im disappointed is an under statement. The dental practice and I were back and forth asking to kust hey authorisation which wasnt given. Im not sure what we pay for but your service is appalling.
