Old Chapel Veterinary Clinic

They are such an amazing team. Helping and checking our 16 year old Chihuahua boy Gizmo. She explained everything so calm and with such grace. We had to put our boy to sleep. One of the saddest days in our lifes. Very hard day but they are great 💙❤️ Thank you Team

Got the best service when my pitbull got sick. They kept us up to date the whole time with his progress. Friendly staff and the environment was so calm. They took great care of my baby. He is now 100% and back to his old self. Thank you to everyone that looked after Brownie ❤️

We are so grateful to the team at Old Chapel Veterinary Clinic for their compassion, care, and professionalism during one of the hardest moments of our lives. They treated our beloved Great Dane with gentleness and respect, and supported us with kindness and empathy through the entire euthanasia process. Thank you for helping us say goodbye with peace and dignity. Your compassion meant more than words can express.

So I've been a loyal customer at this vet for a long time when Dr peter was stil there. The last few times i did not evan see him at the place everytime he is out on for wild animals but then he needs a surgeon at his vet. So i have an Scottish terrier that swallowed something and it got stuck in his stomach they charged me R1700.00 for x ray and medication but he needs surgery and no one can do it at the vet. And the asking price estimate R15000.00 When he returns on monday. Absolutely no love for animals they chase money won't be going back

Great experience - my cats where so relaxed - thank you -

Just an appreciation post which is actually long overdue. My journey with Dr Caldwell and his amazing team started in May of 2023 when I had to send my fur-baby of 14 years over the rainbow bridge. They assisted with so much empathy. In June 2023, I got a new baby, not to replace my Jessie girl, but to ease a very broken heart. My new fur-baby, Lucy had a problem, when I got her she had a botched attempt at repairing an umbilical hernia, which turned life threatening during July 2023. Dr Caldwell personally repaired the hernia, and today, you cannot even see that she had a cut from just below her ribs to just above her lady bits. Fast forward to March 2025, Lucy (AKA Terrorist) was diagnosed with a luxating patella, which once again was repaired by Dr Caldwell to perfection. I recommend this practice to everyone I know as without the wonderful team at Old Chapel my heart would have been broken for a second time in 2023. So I guess all I really want to say through this very longwinded review is thank you, thank you, thank you you are all amazing, and I am sure you are just hiding your angel wings under your shirts, I will have to take a look next time I visit with Lucy and her sister Skye.

People are friendly, vets are knowledgeable and treat the patients with care and respect, this is the only clinic we take our babies to for all their aches and pains.
