Zambesi Animal Hospital

Outstanding experience! Dr Camby and his team went above and beyond to make a stressful situation—my dog’s CCL repair—as smooth and reassuring as possible. From the moment we arrived, I felt confident in their care. The staff demonstrated exceptional knowledge regarding the procedure and post-operative care. They were incredibly accommodating, even allowing my dog to remain hospitalised for an extended period to minimise travel stress. The receptionist was warm, helpful, and efficient in arranging the appointment and made us feel welcome and supported throughout. Her kindness truly made a difference during a challenging time. The handlers were both skilled and compassionate, treating my dog with genuine care and checking in on her well-being, even over the weekend. Dr Camby performed the surgery and personally called me afterwards with an update. He explained the aftercare thoroughly, and my dog’s incision is healing beautifully. The pricing for both the surgery and extended stay was exceptionally reasonable compared to other veterinary hospitals. I can’t recommend this team highly enough—they truly care, and it shows in every interaction. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. A heartfelt thank you to every staff member, and to the families who support them in the vital work they do for our beloved pets!

Dr Camby is the best and most caring animal surgeon in the area. Will never take my fur babies anywhere else. My cat had major knee surgery and he is pain-free, out and about again.

We will forever be great full to Dr. Camby and his team! If you have a furry family member in need, it's the place to go. He put a plate and pins after my dog broke his leg at a doggy parlor. My dog was relaxed around the entire team. We got treated with kindness and compassion. We are greatfull! Thank you Zambezi vet team A team!

Wonderful animal hospital and caring staff, 5 stars for everyone. I would recommend Zambesi Animal Hospital to every pet owner. Dr Camby has been great with my dachshund, Roxy. And keeps me informed on her progress post-op. A huge relief knowing she's well taken care of.
