Die Herehuis used to be very good, but their service has gone down. During our visit in December 2025 the service was not great. They had no WiFi and when we complained it took an hour for them to tell us, sorry the WiFi is off. Nothing offered to compensate for the inconvenience, although we specifically booked a place with WiFi for our teenage girls. ||The morning before we left I wanted to shave, but the room we were in had no warm water.||They need to sort out their WiFi issues, upgrade their TV option from outdated DSTv to Netflix (like most modern guesthouses these days have) and bring their customer service back to what it was before.
The breakfast and service were terrible for the price. It was a big disappointment. Had to ask for things and that was not done very pleasantly and with pride. Did not feel welcome and happy.
I will recommend this beautiful place to anybody who needs a place to stay in Beaufort West for work or en route. Very friendly staff, clean grounds and well maintained garden, stunning meals at affordable prices.
Staff and accommodation were amazing. So helpfull and willing to assist however they could, and could not do enough for us. We spent 2 nights and will always come back.
Beautiful scenery, safe gated environment, quiet and peaceful. Fantastic and friendly service. WiFi provided. Breakfast included. Daily room service.
Great rooms. Excellent braai and food. Brilliant stay. Amazing mid point overnight. The braai is a must do.
