WhyNot Restaurant & Guest Lodge

This was our rescue booking, after the initial booking turned out to be not what we expected. The room was bigger than what we expected, neat and tidy. Our hostess, Catherine, was friendly and helpful start to finish. Definitely a gem. Will book again.

We did not stay here but had visited the restaurant. Neat, clean, and great food. Prices are very good!

Food and service was good. Munic is working on the road where one would normally park (safe), so had to stop in the side street with no working streetlights. No fault of the establishment, but was worried about the vehicle.

Central to everything and safe and secure. Staff is friendly. The only issue was there’s no one at the reception at night

Very mediocre. History related to family is interesting and nice to peruse. They got confused with checkout and reconciling bill etc...not matching whats on menu??...its ok for a night passing through...security was good though and easy in and out re gate...one must bring own soap etc. Staff talk loudly about guests and are not discrete

Location of the place is excellent - right at the beginning of town so you can’t miss it. Facility - the unpaved parking spots for me on a bike were unpleasant but I managed. Shower - I really enjoyed my showers here since they don’t take long to warm up, and the pressure is just excellent. They are fairly clean too. Bed - not the best as it’s sunken. I think they’re overdue for replacement. Sheets - they could be cleaner especially cos they’re white. Check out - rang the bell a number of times without help. Overall was a fair experience and I just feel it could have been better. Lovely place otherwise.

Quick stop for breakfast. Good food takes time, so don't expect it to arrive fast. But it's so worth it. All our breakfast was awesome. Good coffee.
