Animal Welfare Society Helderberg - Kennels/Vet

I cannot speak highly enough of the incredible work this animal welfare organization does. Their dedication to protecting, rescuing, and caring for animals is truly inspiring. They go above and beyond to ensure that every creature receives the care and respect it deserves, whether it’s through rescue missions, medical treatment, or finding loving forever homes. The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable, kind, and tireless in their efforts. A big shout out to Julia, Cliare, Kyle and Prosper! Supporting this organization feels deeply rewarding because you can see the impact they make in the lives of animals and the community. If you care about animal rights and welfare, this is the place to support!!!!

It's often the case that staff who work for animal welfare institutions are rude and abrupt (which is understandable given the nonsense they deal with daily). However, I was pleasantly surprised to find the opposite at AWH. Friendly and helpful without being judgemental. Definitely worth supporting!

I had a very good experience with Animal Welfare Society Helderberg – Kennels/Vet. The staff are kind and caring, and they really love the animals. The place is clean and well looked after. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to adopt a pet or support their work🐾

Always receive the best treatment for our 4-legged friend. Great service from everyone who works here. Keep it up!

They have passion and drive for any animal that come through those doors . They do fostering (if and when someone is available), and you can addopt. They do all the paperwork and schedule your next appointment . They really do care. Thank you. You Are all awesome. Xxx

Julia and the team at AWS work tirelessly to provide shelter and re-homing for many stray and unwanted pets. We simply CANNOT manage this huge problem without this dedicated team...BIGGEST EVER THANK YOU for your unwavering love towards these animals.

As far as animal shelters go this place is run by passion and love. The animals are well looked after and even if its not always people friendly its animal friendly and that's what matters most. Everyone on the team would put their lives on the line for the animals they help. They do need support, you dont always have to adopt to help. Donations of every kind are always welcome. Services too, there is always something to fix or improve. AWS support other local shelters too with veterinary services, sterilization, vaccines, inspections and more so any donation here goes futher than most realise. Remember ADOPT dont shop xx
