Shaun has cared for Okely the Boxer periodically for the past 8 years: daycare, walks, overnight and holiday time. Even though his new venture Milnerton Dog Den is relatively new. Shaun's experience and his genuine love for dogs really shines through. Okely absolutely adores him! Honestly so happy with Milnerton Dog Den. The patience is incredible! The communication is amazing! And to top it off, my furr babies are so happy. I finally found a place that can train and take my doggos for walks without having to stress as I know they are in good hands. I would highly recommend! I can’t recommend Milnerton Dog Den highly enough. The care, patience, and genuine love they show the dogs is truly something special. My dog Wrinkles, who is a Chinese Shar Pei, can be quite sensitive and set in his ways, but Shaun really gets him. Shaun took the time to understand Wrinkles personality, his needs, and how to work with him in a calm, respectful way. That level of understanding makes such a difference, especially for a breed like Shar Peis who need trust and patience. The service at Milnerton Dog Den is excellent – professional, compassionate, and clearly driven by a love for animals rather than just a job. Knowing that Wrinkles is in safe, capable hands gives me complete peace of mind. And as a bonus, meeting Bruno, Simba, and Basil whilst socialising Wrinkles was the biggest part of our day. Each one is amazing in their own pawsitively special way and they truly add to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Milnerton Dog Den feel like a second home. Milnerton Dog Den is the BEST "home from home" service because it caters for dogs in a loving, social, and supportive environment where dogs can hang out, play, sleep, and just be themselves without the stress of cages or runs (that characterize traditional dog kennels). My 2 dogs, Molly and Sammie had a blast and came back after 12 days with waggier tails than when they left! We truly appreciate Shaun for the excellent care he provides to our doggos. He is reliable, attentive, and always ensures they get proper walks while being well looked after. Moreover, Shaun and his team put effort into making sure the doggos socialize safely and happily together, whether on packwalks or at the daycare. We have a peace of mind knowing our girls are in good hands. MDD may have a small team, but communication is easy and prompt. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing help with their doggos 🐾

Milnerten Dog Den has completely transformed our dog, Indi, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Indi was an anxious, shy, and very naughty girl. Before she went into boarding school for just over two months, she was out of control, overweight, and we simply couldn’t help her live a full, happy doggy life. Shaun and the entire team have worked absolute wonders with her. Seeing Indi now—happy, healthy, obedient, and confident—has been incredible. It’s clear that they truly love dogs, and you can see that love in everything they do. Their care, compassion, and dedication genuinely go above and beyond; they put their whole hearts into helping each dog. Indi is always immaculately groomed—super clean, clearly well cared for, and often dressed in the cutest pink bow tie, which absolutely melts our hearts. I’ve also had the privilege of visiting their beautiful premises, filled with enrichment activities, excellent facilities, and lots of happy barks. The environment is calm, structured, and incredibly positive. They truly understand that every dog is different. Indi needed plenty of exercise to burn off built-up energy, along with lots of attention and guidance—and they’ve handled it perfectly. No challenge is too great for this team. I would highly recommend Milnerten Dog Den to anyone looking for real, life-changing support for their dog. We are truly grateful for their genuine care and compassion. 🐾💛
