Fairfield Cottages

Our stay at Mountain Spring Cottage was the highlight of our holiday. Surrounded by apple and pear orchards with breathtaking mountain views, the setting was peaceful and stunning. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the cottage was spotless, the pool refreshing and the kitchen was very well equipped. We especially loved hiking from the cottage and the rock bath (which is part of Mountain Spring Cottage) — such a unique and relaxing touch. The hosts were wonderfully friendly and welcoming. We would absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay in Fynbos cottage. It's spacious, clean and well-equipped, with very comfortable beds. The outside braai area is lovely, especially with the wood-fired hot tub nearby. We also made good use of the gorgeous pool, given that temps were in the 30s while we were there. We will definitely be back to try the hot-tub in winter! Thank you Reana for being a charming and helpful hostess; it was one of the best short-stays we've ever had.

It was our last getaway before hubby had to leave for work. It was romantic and quiet and the fact that our 2 border collies was welcome made it so much better!

This was a awesome experience and our cottage was perfect just like the weather. Theres nothing really to complain about it was just a schlep the pool wasn't closer but that wasn't a train smash. We are definitely returning for a couples retreat and book the 2 person cottage

Fairfield Cottages is a beautiful place. I stayed at the Whispering Pines Cabin, and it was one of the most amazing cabins I’ve ever stayed in. The only really disappointing aspect was that other guests are allowed to book the dam for the entire day, and during that time it cannot be used by anyone else. One of the main reasons I chose Fairfield Cottages for my birthday weekend was to use the dam, but unfortunately we were unable to do so. The times it was available clashed with plans we had already made in Ceres (was available in the morning only). It would have been appreciated if Fairfield Cottages had made me aware of this in advance, rather than only after I asked for directions to the dam. Very disappointing.

Our trendy designer cabin was a huge spoil - air conditioning; fan; internal woodburner AND outside braai. The farm's hospitality included milk in the fridge; chocolates; beetroot chips and liquorice. Early morning and evening walks along the pear and apple orchards were a treat for us city dwellers

Had a great stay at the Whispering Woods cabin. The host was friendly, and the place was very quiet and relaxing. It’s a bit of a drive down a gravel road to get there, but well worth it. Would definitely recommend.
