Don’t forget anything by mistake…any valuables you won’t get it back the cleaning ladies are high time thieves….you will get your wallet and bags empty and they will be saying there was nothing inside ….this happened to me 25/11/2026

Worest experience i forgot my trousers with money and found it empty and i was certain about it….the cleaning staffs are the worest

My room was not great, I saw others did look good. The stuff was friendly and treated us with respect. Gate motor was not working while I was there, so I had to open the gate myself, not a major issue. Will return next time I am in Dundee.

We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2011 while visiting the battlefields. It is gated and safe. The room furnishings are very dated and basic, but clean and quiet for the most part. The lady that runs it is very nice. She told us that they dont really advertise to tourists, and most people staying there were locals and government workers. So it was very economical. We ate breakfast and dinner there both days, and it was very good! Also, when we had to change our reservation (we had initially reserved for 3 nights), they were very accommodating and didn't make us pay a cancellation fee or anything like that.

went on work trip and stayed over he highly suggests you rest here ! Great environment, excellent service! could have discounts for regular clients 🌟☺️

Nice and clean! Comfy beds and warm blankets. Lovely full breakfast and attentive staff who helped us check in, out and swop batteries in remote controls for TV's and aircons quickly!

This is literally the worst experience I have ever had, when I arrived I was told that no booking was made despite the fact that it had already been paid for and I could show them an invoice. I was shown to a room that had hardly been cleaned, very very very poorly maintained and had no amenities, I was told that dinner would be delivered in 30 minutes... Two hours later I received cold food (boiled packet veg and a tough piece of meat) and shortly after I was greeted by load shedding, with only a paraffin lamp to light the way I showered in cold water and slept in a bed that smelt of urine, when I attempted to message my wife goodnight I was not surprised that there is no signal that can be found short of wandering around the car park. The staff were friendly and that is the only reason they even receive 1 star from me. Please stay clear of this place! I have however stayed across the road at Tranquil (my review can be found on this site) they are literally chalk and cheese.
