Sevens Guesthouse

Having not visited Sevens Guesthouse in a few years, I was eager to see if they had kept to their high standards on my recent trip to Kruger National Park from Cape Town. I was delighted to find that they absolutely have! The guesthouse itself is a beautiful wooden cabin with separate rooms opening onto a small courtyard. Even though we visited during winter, when it can get very cold in this part of South Africa, the rooms were nice and warm thanks to electric blankets and air conditioners. There is also a lovely shared living room, indoor dining area, and even a swimming pool for warmer days. We arrived quite late, but the manager was friendly and welcoming. They even went the extra mile and arranged an electrical port for us (we used our own extensions cords) so we could keep our camping fridges (outside in our vehicles) powered during our stay. The Sevens Guesthouse is also conveniently located. It is close to the N1 for easy access, and the on-site parking area is secured with electric fencing, providing peace of mind for your vehicle. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the future.

We loved our short stop at Sevens Guesthouse! The location was perfect, and the secure parking was a bonus. The service was very friendly and helpful.

Wow! As a avid traveler I've stayed in alot of places. And this place is on my top 5. Rooms are Cosy, clean and well equipped. Guest house is in a stunning location on the outskirts of Kroonstad with a bush like feel 5 min from central town. Breakfast was a absolute delight and so well presented. Host Ansune is a added gem to this place. So accommodating and makes one feel so welcome. For long term or over night stay this is definitely the place to be.

If your goal is to sleep over, and you don't mind wooden floors? Then this place is perfect. Very good service with extremely comfy clean beds. They do have breakfast. Dinner via Mr. Delivery.

A great place to stop over en route as it offers comfortable accommodation in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood close to the N1. Spacious, light and welcoming. Even though we arrived late, the staff were friendly and opened up for us. The wooden cabin feel made for a relaxing stay even though it was only an overnight stop. Apart from the rooms, the accommodation offered comfortable seating areas and tables to eat. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Kroonstad or passing through.

Very efficient and friendly service. Room was well equipped and very neat and clean. I was on my back from visiting family in the Eastern Cape and found this to be the ideal location for an overnight stay. The overall experience was on par with establishments charging much higher fees. Very good value for money, guaranteed!
