The owner, Edith, is so lovely and helpful. The place is easy to drive to in any car. The pony is adorable,it was the first time my son was on a pony, and they were so patient and really helped him get comfortable. The space is very nice to braai. I really enjoyed the views and look forward to trying the hiking trail. And I definitely recommend buying the honey!!!
Very good place for a hike, took us around 2 hours for the whole hike, we also had a look at the animals. Fascinating scenery and good exercise. The Chinese food was great, really enjoyed the whole course, soup, fried rice, coconut chicken, tea and desert. Will definitely come back again! (NB Booking is essential at the moment, so please book a day or two before you go.)
One of the best places to visit in Newcastle. We had a relaxed afternoon with my wife and enjoyed the cosy host by Miss Lau herself and Lil sister (Maria). We got a chance to even try Chinese meal and it was so appetizing. Although, the weather wasn't allowing - we did get a chance to meet few of the animals in the farm i.e Gabriel, Red Sky ... I would highly recommend that one book a day(s) or a night(s) and enjoy the treat. Block bookings are also available if one wanna host a function (birthday, anniversary, year end functions etc) We planning to visit again soon for hiking and horse riding.
We spent a day with family at the venue: Hiked, had a braai and the kids enjoyed the animals. Lovely place and the owner made us feel so welcome!
Friendly workers on the farm. Nice view and having a farm experience close to town.
Awesome place to take your kids and family in a farm setting with ponies and horses for your kids to ride.
It's one of the coolest places in Newcastle. The farm animals and the food is great
