Albert House Guesthouse

Our December 2025 stay exceeded every expectation, delivering the perfect blend of warmth, comfort, and festive charm. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding—welcoming, attentive, and refreshingly genuine. The accommodation felt homely. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The common areas were equally impressive, with outside seating for reading, relaxing, or enjoying a glass of wine by the braai. The food was delicious. We left feeling rested, well fed, and genuinely cared for. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend this accommodation without reservation.

AmazIng hospitality. #superhosts Clean, comfortable rooms, quality bedding, great amenities, beautiful unexpected oasis in the Karoo. The restaurant on the premises is super convenient. The garden is absolutely gorgeous and the food is a true reflection of Lani's passion.

My wife and I, and our two teenage boys, had a most enjoyable, relaxing and comfortable stay at Albert House, after a long drive from KZN. The old house is magnificent - as are the garden and outdoor dining area. A highlight was the delicious braai by Wentzel himself, including succulent Karoo lamb. Dankie, Wentzel!

Beautifully renovated Guest House in the most beautiful oasis of a garden with attached True Living restaurant with awesome food. There were quite a few maintenance issues with the room (broken bathroom door handle, leaking kettle, no plug for basin, turntable in the microwave broken etc but the owner was very quick to attend to most of them. Tip: Owner should sleep in each room occasionally, use all the appliances etc (that's the only way to know what is wrong with a B&B room)

Not at all self-catering..no zink, no taps in the dirty place they call kitchen. Dirty windows and curtains. Cutlery and crockery terrible. Linen poorly ironed. Dirty unkept blanket in a dirty wardrobe. No headboards at 2 single beds. Only 1 bedlamp that worked. 100% misleading advertisement. Will never recommend them..but will warn people against them

My room was beautiful but as someone who has asthma and sinus the carpets did a number on me. The heater in my room wasn’t working from the day I arrived and it was extremely cold. But the service was good the food was also good my issue is the dogs that go everywhere even into the restaurant that’s a health hazard waiting to happen.

Wonderful, hands-on, involved owners...very few places are safe & clean & tidy that make provision for pets in the Karoo, and this place ticks all the boxes. Will definately be back!
