I can't recommend The Scratching Post enough! Our cats just spent two weeks there, and they had such a wonderful time that they almost seemed reluctant to come home! The care and attention they received were outstanding—treats, playtime, and plenty of love. Gail, the owner sent us regular photo updates, which brought us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear she genuinely cares for every pet in her care. We’re so grateful for the amazing experience and would happily bring our cats back again. Thank you Gail for going above and beyond!
I have been taking my cats to The Scratching Post for over 2 years now, and we've only had good experiences. Gail takes great care if them and is so lovely to deal with. They send pictures to you every few days while you're away, which is so appreciated.
It’s the 27th of December 2023 and they have lost my friends cat Otis! They didn’t even bother telling her prior to her arriving back. She literally found out this morning when she arrived to fetch her cats, the owner can’t even remember exactly when she last saw him. We’ve been handing out flyers all day around the Neighbourhood. The owner has done NOTHING to help look for the cat that is missing under her watch!
Absolutely zero web presence, no website, no social media, how? Where does this place come from? Who are the people involved? And then "they" lose a cat that has been entrusted into "their" care. Absolutely horrifying and shocking. How did "they" lose Otis the cat?
Gail is an exceptional sweetheart to deal with. Very accomodating & definitely loves her tenants. Our furkid is a nervous kitty but seemed very happy & relaxed when we collected her again. The lodges are well constructed & are continuously maintained. The UV roofing makes for a noticeable difference in temperature even on the hottest of summer days. Your furkid is free to socialise with other kitties if they want to. Excellent peace of mind. Will definitely make use of The Scratching Post in future & recommend it to others. 💙🐱
Stay clear . No effort has been made by the owner to help find our missing cat Otis that she lost, I guess we are just an inconvenience. Unfortunately, Google does not allow to post the review with ZERO stars rating.
Lost a cat in their care and did not even inform the owner until owner came to collect their cat! Offer no help to even locate the cat they lost.
