The Fairway Guesthouse Senekal

I booked at fairway guest house the my booking was moved to another guesthouse with no explanation why. When I arrived with my wife, we were welcomed by a lady on the drive way with 2 dogs. And my wife is terrified of Dogs. ||||The lady showed us to the room which looked clean but when I wanted to make coffee, there were cockroaches by the cattle.||||The lady did not even give us the WiFi password, when I sent a message on the WhatsApp number I used to communicate, the message was read but not responded to.||||I will never again book there and will never recommend.

The stay was comfortable and clean. The room although small had a large bed. The main light did not work(perhaps the globe) however the bedside lamps were strong enough to light up the room sufficiently. We arrived 3pm to beautiful gardens, a massive Great Dane but a sweet happy temperament. A new lady at reception was starting that same day, so a little disorganised however it had all that was needed for a comfortable overnight stay.

Talk of Great Stay, clean space, nice well kept garden, warm welcome and peaceful home. From the owner to their staff everyone was awesome. To think I called late at 10pm, I ran out of airtime and Esmé called me back. Such a wonderful lady she opened the gate for us and welcomed us. May God Bless and protect her for her bravery. 1 bedroom chalet became our home for 3 nights.

The place was amazing and it's situated close by to everything and it's right next to the golf course, for those who love golfing. It's always clean, fresh nd very classy. The service is friendly nd I'm definitely coming back.

The accommodation is easily accessible and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are so beautiful and clean. I would most definitely recommend the guesthouse to other people. The area is nice and quiet.

Thank you Esmé and Germarie & team for a wonderful stay! Thank you for accommodating my daughter and bridesmaids as well as parents of bride & groom! Breakfast is a must. The homemade pesto and cottage cheese was a gr8 add on. Loved the sweet peas and flowers in the rooms! Peaceful and tranquil setting, took photo's if the bride in the garden which is beautiful this time if the year. Tip: ask for Caddy Loft, gr8 value for money.

First of all Esmé is such a friendly and lovely host — the guesthouse was easy to locate using GPS and the " Birdie" room was incredibly beautiful and has good natural lighting. My partner and I enjoyed the stillness and serenity of the well-kept garden.
