Pet Microchips & Pet Wellness | Identipet

I deeply regret choosing Identipet for my dogs’ microchips. My vet presented it as the only option, so I trusted it without hesitation. But what I thought was a simple, secure way to link my pets to my contact details has turned into a frustrating and misleading experience. Identipet bombards me with marketing emails I can’t unsubscribe from, because if I do, I might miss "important" messages in case something happens to my pets. This feels like a fear-based tactic to upsell services I never asked for. The app doesn’t work anymore, and when I try to check my dogs’ profiles online, I can’t even log in. I have zero confidence that Identipet stores or maintains any accurate profile for my animals. To make matters worse, I’ve received emails saying my "subscription" has ended, even though I never signed up for one in the first place. This all makes me question what I’ve put into my dogs’ bodies. Is it just junk? A misleading ploy that gives pet owners a false sense of security? Identipet seems more interested in using responsible pet owners as data sources to sell add-ons than in providing the basic service we signed up for: a working chip linked to a secure database with our pets’ names and our contact info in case they go missing. I’m furious to be in this situation. Why does the app no longer work? Why can’t I easily see that my dogs’ profiles are safely stored and linked to their chip numbers? And please, stop trying to sell me anything. I have zero confidence in Identipet as a trustworthy company.

I need info for a friend who passed aways pet no where can I get hold of these people to get In fo on how to change ownership of the animal. So it's useless this app

Worst company I have ever ! I can’t update my pets information. Their app doesn’t work . They don’t reply to emails and totally incompetent people answer the phone . Do not use this company ! They just want to bombard you with nonsense emails

Thank you Zanele for you help and assistance. I couldint login to the app. They phoned me back, guide me and sorted everything out in less than 30min. Would highly recommend them.

Identipet staff is friendly and helpful. We have moved several times locally and internationally and we have always felt safe knowing our pets are chipped and our details are on their database. 10/10 *

Excellent service, I have so much peace of mind knowing my baby is chipped in case anything should ever happen to him!

Excellent service, affordable and reliable. Gives us peace of mind to know our doggies are able to be scanned and found if lost.
