Paws Abilities

Most definitely the best choice you can make when taking your dog for training. Completely force free and positive reinforcement. My lab puppy has blossomed into a confident, happy boy. Thank you, Louise, for being my boys' favourite outing, and thank you, Kim, for using your magic touch, clipping nails like a magician without him even being aware of what's happening. This team is absolutely the best choice for a well-rounded, happy, confident dog.

The most compassionate and caring people you will ever meet! They treat your dogs with such love and attention. I was really nervous to leave Marvel for the first time, but the daily updates and photos gave me complete peace of mind. I would genuinely rate them 20/10 and recommend them to absolutely everyone! This is hands-down the BEST place to leave your dog when you go on holiday. Marvel had the time of his life and was so incredibly happy with Charlie! She’s an absolute gem, you can truly feel her passion and love for animals. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Marvel will definitely be staying here again. This is officially his holiday home now!

Warriors for the welfare and well-being of dogs. Educated and passionate about force-free, ethical training. Louise and her team have a wealth of knowledge and are always happy to collaborate and share.

At Paws Abilities the owners and dogs are treated with respect, patience and a lot of support. I have learned so much about dog's behaviours and how to manage my own puppy. No force or choke chains are used, only positive reinforcement. The puppies are socialized in terms of humans, animals and objects. Thank you Louise, Marianne, Kim and Charlie for all the love and passion with the training

We have a rescue and it was a lot of hard work in the beginning. The poor child was scared of his own shadow. We went for a some advise and I can't believe how much we lwarned. The work was ours, but understanding what we were dealing with made it easier. I'm so chuffed with our cheeky pup's progress. He trots around the house with his waggy tail and he's super demanding about getting his rubs. We get zoomies when we come home and he's hardly even licking himself anymore. Thank you for sharing your knowledge - we would never be here without the understanding you gave us.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank PAWS ABILITIES, not only for their exceptional dog training that they offer, but to commend them on their "doggy day care" as well. Our German Shepherd has been attending weekly training with trainer, Kim Buchanan, who has taken our dog, from a nervous and anxious pup, to a confident and obedient dog, who is thriving in her training sessions and she has shown tremendous growth. Kim has shown commitment, patience and love each and every week. Due to house renovations at the beginning of July, we had no option but to put both our dogs into "doggy day care" for the week. Charlie was exceptional to deal with from the outset.  From the completion of the forms, her constant reassurance and mostly her love and care for our dogs within this time. What really impressed us most, is the fact that almost on an hourly basis, we received videos, and updates on both dogs. Not only did it set our minds at ease, but more importantly showed us as a family, that our dogs were not left in cages, but that Charlie spent quality time with them, allowing them to roam, and "life their best life". A huge thank you to Louise, Charlie and Kim.  PAWS ABILITIES is home away from home. Would highly recommend you all, to anyone who is need of training or a loving and safe environment for their fur babies. The More Family (Humans) Hana & Harley (Fur Babies)

Lack of consideration for how to train dogs. You'll be sold a fallacy and charged a fee like these trainers are qualified neurosurgeons. If you have reactive dogs stay VERY far away. All they do is tell you how to work your dog but provide ZERO proofing themselves. It's a scam. Rather find trainers and behaviourists who work with difficult dogs and can show you in person that they can get results.
