Plato's Beard

I visited this barber on the 27th of Feb and the barber did an excellent light trim on my beard which I have been growing for over a year. On 11th April I went back and there was a new barber who I specified not to take off any length or volume. I left with more then 50% of my beard gone and reshaped. I feel violated as this beard took time and effort and was destroyed in a matter of minutes, I asked for the barber with the most experience with beards and this is what I got, the worst is I had to pay.

Don't often give a 5 star rating but definitely found myself a new barber. Went in for a cut and shave, and was well worth it. Simply put it was one of the nicest cuts I've had in a long time and the staff are super. Shop is nice and tidy and I saw them clean all their equipment after every customer. To anyone looking for a good place for a haircut, I highly recommend them.

It is a pity that Shelley is not there any more. The new guy made a right royal mess that is going to take at least 3 months to grow back. My son has decided not to go back and rather go to the stylist who fixed it. He could not wait for Juliana to fix it, because he could not bare to be seen in public and I don't blame him.

What a fantastic experience. Michelle was friendly and accommodating. I live overseas and wanted to make a booking for my brother-in-law and best man for their wedding week. Nothing was too much trouble and I was offered a great package to suit the occasion. I have no doubt the boys will love their indulgent spoil in the lead up to the big day! I highly recommend!

THANK YOU. Due to flight delays, I had to stay over in Johannesburg unexpectedly. I needed a haircut at short notice today and Ashton at Plato's Beard went above and beyond the call of duty. I called ahead to make an appointment (there was one available within the hour) and I was given one of the best skin fades of my life, together with a beard line up. The prices were fair and reasonable, the service was super friendly and the technical quality of the skin fade was absolutely superb. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a barbers near OR Tambo Airport. -Cal

My wife and daughter really wanted to cut there hair on the 24th Dec. This being a Sunday most salons were closed.I called Platos Beard as we were leaving the airport. The lady who answered was so friendly. We literally had an hour and wow both my wife and daughter were super happy with their hair. Thank you guys .you are amazing 👏

I follow my barber Ashton anywhere he goes. Late last year he decided to join the Plato team and I'm not disappointed at all. I like the products and services they offer and you can get a good male pampering here. Priced very well in the market, the products work and the service is always great from the whole team. Everyone is friendly at make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. I am very happy at this barber shop.
