SPAR The Palms

This is rated at a 2 Star only reason being that the Chicken purchased was way over the expiry, however still in the fridge for customers to purchase. I must.admit.o was in a rush and did not check the expiry date. This is no excuse as the floor manager should be checking. This was my first review. Told by the manager there was no review. Today is my second review. Bought pork also bad. I'm totally annoyed . Was asked by the.manager where I bought the pork "was it at the stores butchery". Yes quiet obviously. I think I need to cut my losses and shop somewhere else,,

The service is always great. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they always have good specials. It’s a pleasure shopping here every time!

My slice of velvet cake that I bought on my way home is soooo hard. Like it’s been there for days

I am amazed at the amount of veggies I just got at Palm Spar. Where do you still get Broccoli or Cauliflower for R6.99???? I also got a 5kg carrots for R24.99, cute little carrots, they might not win Miss South Africa Carrot competition, but who cares right? I do not want to brag, but I got some bananas, apples, strawberries and so much more at bargain prices. Even the whole chicken is R54.99 per kg. These specials are valid while stock last, 21 Aug 2025, just in case you read my review in 2026...I suggest you get a trolley and rush to Palm Spar now. Thanks to Palm Spar that keeps me up to date with the specials via sms. Highly appreciated. Who does not want to save money on the healthy and enjoyable food? You make it easy for all of us!!

They let someone cut in front of me at the express till even when I had been waiting a while . They didn’t even apologise . Will take my money elsewhere.

Very big grocery shop and all of their tills are operating you don't stay long in the queue

DISGUSTING SERVICE, WE STOOD AT THE COUNTER FOR 10 MIN WE WERE NOT ASSISTED WHILE WE STARTED TO ORDER THE LADY WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND ASSISTED ANOTHER CLIENT. I ASKED THE LADY WHY SHE DID NOT ASSISTED US AS SHE STATED THE OTHER GUY WAS THERE BEFORE US. I FEEL WE WERE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BECAUSE WE ARE WHITE.
