Melandri Grooming Parlour

How delightful to meet Melandri. The owner of the parlor. The receptionist was a breath of fresh air welcoming me and my four legged baby. Im a new mommy first time to a smaller breed. Melandri took my dog, Isabella and introduced her in no time to the salon bath cut and dry. Omw my heart just melted. The love is very efficiently in her love for animals. With this kind of support and live, I know I will make a good mommy and will for sure walk a journey with Melandri and her staff. Thank you for making us feel at home today.

I took my Yorkie to Melandri Grooming Parlour for the 1st time, and I definitely recommend them! In all the years , this is the absolute best job that has been done on my little boy. Further to note not a single cut on his skin anywhere or any "hack" jobs on his coat, hair cut around his eyes, face and paws were flawless. Small attention to detail was even added by including ribbons and neck scarfs in support of the rugby, above all else, we even got a little treat pack for our boy with doggy biscuits and droëwors in it! Absolutely amazing job done! Only thing to mention is that they get extremely busy so wait time can be quite a while but they will give you a call when your furbaby is ready to be taken home. Highly recommend to Give them a try!

Washed and shaved our miniature schnauzer and min pin exactally as requested. Amazing service. Dropped them off at 8am (no real booking required) and got a call at 10am that he was ready for pick up. Friendly staff and fast effective service and value for money priced service. Highly recommend! Babies always come home with a new bandana and goodie bag as well! What a treat

We have been coming to this parlour for almost a year and usually myself and my Pekingese are happy. Unfortunately, they have now disappointed in a big way. The staff were bragging about the amount of dogs (92) done for the day. I dropped my dogs off at 10am, only to have them ready by 1430 that day. I had to call twice to find out how long it will still be and had to wait when I got there. As suspected, the grooming was sloppy and half arsed due to the fact that they were so busy. The worst part to me was, due to the extreme stress levels under those busy conditions, my little boy was so exhausted he couldn’t even walk from the car to the front door when we got home and he laid panting and moaning for almost 2 hours after, just gulping water. I do not want my dogs to be treated like just another number to fill their sausage machine and make more money. I am extremely disappointed and so sorry my dogs had to go through such and ordeal.

I'm not one to leave a bad review. But I feel I should warn other dog owners, and hopefully have this Parlour change their ways. How would you feel if you walk out of a hairdresser with a shaved head, after asking them just to trim your edges? We understand mistakes happen. And we were reimbursed. But after your dog's beautiful coat of hair is completely shaved off, after specifically asking for a sanitary cut. I feel this is not acceptable! Especially since a closer inspection of our dog's coat showed that he has been nipped and injured while being cut! This business use to give amazing service, but lately they have just been focusing on getting as many dogs in and out of their doors. They have no system to effectively address each customer's requirements. The guy working at reception doesn't note your requests and just keeps on telling everyone how busy they are. If you are too busy to deliver a professional service, either cap the amount of dogs you take in, or expect many more unhappy customers! Yes, in a few months time, our doggie will be back to normal, but by implementing a more effective system, hopefully other dog owners won't have to experience the same let down. Melandri, you are famous in the area for how well you handle Yorkies. But I'm sure this isn't the first time this has happened. And if something doesn't change I fear you'll be getting a lot more unhappy customers. I'd be more than happy to pay double, if I know my dog is handled with care and propper attention! But I'm afraid you've lost a customer today.

Always accomodating and take time to ensure every doggy gets there haircut and wash eben if it means working past closing time. Dogs are treated well and happy to go back
