Pampered Paws Claremont

I previously had entrusted Pampered Paws Claremont with my dog for years, however, my experience within the last couple of months has not been good repeatedly. There has been numerous occasions my dog has been nicked during a groom despite me mentioning it before as it always happens in a specific area, it happened again and this time it was bad. My dog has cuts around her private area on several spots and her leg this time. She is extremely uncomfortable, today I witnessed the wound bleeding. While I know this is a risk while grooming, the way she was cut this time reflects a lack proper attention and care during grooming. Further, I dropped my dog off at 09h30 for her scheduled appointment, I called at 11h30 to check in as it usually takes about 2 hours and my dog was not attended to yet. I feel like the groom was rushed in the end leading to my dog being cut badly in certain areas. My dog was eventually ready 4 hours later (13h30pm) and I made my way back to pick her up. While on my way they called me at 13h35 to ask where I am as they closing at 2pm despite me previously stating I am on my way and I got there before 2pm. I feel that it was wrong since my dog's appointment was for 09h30 already and then they ended up rushing the whole process and then chasing me on just before closing time. The front desk staff member apologised when I asked about the 4 hour waiting time and he said they were understaffed which I understand and I sympathise with, BUT I am less tolerant of the lack of care and gentleness they displayed during my dog's groom and the fact that they hurt her badly this time. I've always supported pampered paws but I am beyond disappointed and let down by this experience and I would consider taking my dog to alternative parlor where she is in better hands.

Took Shishi (my Pomeranian cross) for the first time for the Full Groom and asked specifically for the shortest summer cut possible and boy, did they deliver! Wonderful staff, very well priced, and he looks like a little rat (with no shave cuts!) and smells great. No more panting for my overbite rescue pup 🐶 10/10

Extremely disappointed with the booking system and overall professionalism. I arrived promptly at 11:30am with my dog for a confirmed appointment, only to be told at reception that I did not have a booking. The staff member, Walid, said my name did not appear on their system. I then showed the confirmation email, which clearly proves that I did have a booking. I was told the booking was "not confirmed," which makes absolutely no sense — if a confirmation email is sent, what more confirmation is needed? I have never experienced such a poorly managed booking process. Despite arriving on time and having proof of my appointment, I was turned away because they were too full. This shows a complete lack of respect for customers’ time and poor internal organisation. This experience left a very bitter taste . I am currently awaiting feedback for what has happened. and have attached the evidence to let it be known.

Pampered Paws Claremont did an absolutely amazing job grooming my puppy! The haircut is perfect—neat, even, and makes my pup look even more adorable. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and made sure my puppy felt comfortable throughout the process. The attention to detail and care they put into their work is truly impressive. Highly recommend them for top-notch grooming and excellent service!

The staff here are very sweet and polite but other aspects of the grooming parlor are terrible. My little dog has twice come home with cuts from the groomers - one on her chest and one on her paw. You stress they must cut the toenails and they forget. You ask them to call when they've finished and they don't. Their online booking system is a joke; I booked a 12pm appointment, and over three hours later, they still hadn't seen to her. I won't take her back to Pampered Paws again.

Our last grooming session was very good and I have no more complaints. They looked after our dogs needs, delivered a good cut and stayed in contact with us at all times. I do recommend.
