Absolute Pets Riverside

I was admittedly alarmed when on my way, I happened to spot the reviews for the pet spa from a number of months ago. I queried this on arrival and was assured that the relevant staff that had caused the issues had been let go a while ago and that they would take great care of my babies. I was very impressed with the service and overall experience and highly recommend Absolute Pet Spa Riverside.

Helpful, vert helpful. We'll stocked, clean and tidy. The reason for 4 stars is because the staff talk over you. I'm my culture that is just rude but I'm sure if you ask them they've done nothing wrong. First time here, I will return - everybody deserves a 2nd chance - not so. Unsure as to why 4 staff on duty for such a small shop - unless they had friends over, sitting by the till point, because 2 other ladies were sitting at the till point without a name badge on.. They were all talking and having a good time when I walked in, loud as hell, I nearly didn't enter the store. I'm not convinced all were employed staff. Management may want to check or pay a surprise visit.

Extremely disappointed! Firstly they were running late and did not communicate this. Then they quoted me one price, however when I paid it was more. They ran 2 hours late for collection. But the worst, is that the dogs were so poorly cut! They did not cut a normal schnauzer cut. Eyebrows were completely uneven along with their coats which looked like theyd been hacked! The one dog we requested to have the eyes cleaned, which were not! They had chunks of gunk in their eyebrows and beard. The consultants were rude and spent more time chatting to each other happily letting the customer's wait. I will certainly not be using them again!!!! Shortly after my post, they called to apologise and reimbursed the transaction.

I wish I read these reviews before using this grooming service. First of all, the groomer did not follow the cutting instructions and picture provided for the shape of his face, he just did his own thing. Secondly, he cut his face so unevenly, there are random tufts everywhere. We won’t be using them again. The manager is welcome to reach out for further feedback.

Disappointed at the grooming service. I have told them not to cut my dog, however they ignored. And they cut my dog’s eyelashes. When we back to ask for reasons they ignored the fact and said they didn’t make wrong cut

My puppy has been to various groomers, without issue, but i was told they want to cut his hair because he was fighting with them. I was shocked when i received a Yorkie that was shaven so short. I feel like they just shave all the dogs, as seen in previous reviews because they too lazy to take the gentle approach. I definitely will not be using them again.

I wish I had read the reviews before bringing in my cat. I specified while making a booking that I’m bringing a cat, when I get there I’m told they are busy with a dog so I had to wait for the dog to finish. They are super slow at the till and when I finally paid and got my cat, it was visibly wet! They said my cat is scared of the dryer, at his normal groomer I’ve never had issues, Infact they say he’s so calm that they don’t even need two groomers. They made me watch as they dry him, only for the other groomer to sit and watch while the other handles my cat by the neck uncomfortably trying to dry him. I couldn’t stand it, I took my cat home in that damp state
