Shoprite Morena Mall

I bought biltong from shoprite morena mall a few days ago and only after eating I found mold in one of the pieces. This is so careless and a threat to people's health. Why is the expiry date incorrect. Something is not making sense.

Guys you really need to improve your cooking 🍳 and your food presentation. No please do better.

I bought beetroot yesterday 2025-09-18 only to find out when I got home it expired 2025-02-28. So disappointed. Why is this still on their shelves. Shoprite morena mall keng mara

The manager is doing a great job.. Clean, friendly staff, fresh food, customer service is excellent. I enjoy shopping there. Thanks to the Good manager.

This shop knows very well the busy dates and on those date only 2 tills will be working, wen it's not busy time, all tills operate... I dnt knw how do the function onestly, and tellers are very very very slow, time frame to be on line can take 45mins or more, am in the shop rite now since 8h09 til now still online, not moving at all😭😭😭please can thyy ask food lovers how do the manage cos woow line can be long but less Tha 10mins u r out of the shop...😡POOOR MANAGEMENT

The shop is clean and the staff I interacted with were friendly. However most of their in-store baked goodies are not yet up to the acceptable standard. 1. Bread, not sure weather they make more bread and keep it at the back or what to keep the shelves full? I stay less than 5km from the store, whether I go in the morning, midday or afternoon, that bread is dry and looks old. I hardly find a fresh bread. 2. Their rockbun also has a different texture. 3. Jam Swiss roll, is heavy, and the taste is also different. 4. The pies were also not tasty compared to other stores. However I enjoyed the cheese buns and the sweet (yellow/raisin) bread. More training might be required as it is still a fairly new store.

Bad customer service from 2 ladies ( Rachel and Patience). I went to buy baby foods as I saw it on special ( purity 110ml )they told me I cannot buy more than 6 as I wanted to buy 12 of those. I asked that lady if it is possible for the customer that is at the back to pay for me another 6 purities since well I wanted 12, with attitude she said to me..."mama wee otla patela ka ko till enngwe" I had to go and get in another queue just to pay for another 6 purities that I bought. I was so dissapointed because the lady who said those things to me was wearing a red belt of customer service yet her service was very bad.
