Checkers Ngebs City

I had a very disappointing experience at this Checkers. There were no shopping trolleys available at all, and when we asked for assistance, the security guards had an unpleasant attitude and were not helpful. The overall service was poor, and it left us feeling unwelcome. We eventually had to leave without shopping and go to Shoprite instead. This is not the level of service I expect. Very disappointing.

I purchased a couple of items from Checkers BT Ngebs (Mall of Mthatha) via the Checkers Sixty60 app. One of the items was damaged. I logged into the app to report the issue and was advised to return the item to Checkers BT Ngebs (Mall of Mthatha). When I went to the store and asked to speak to the manager, I was extremely disappointed by the service I received. She was not helpful at all and told me there was nothing she could do on her side. She then handed the damaged item back to me without offering any solution. I felt belittled and humiliated by this interaction. I sincerely hope that the manager receives additional customer service training going forward.

Bought sliced chocolate cookie, when I ate there was hair around it. I took a video but can only share pictures, that’s really disgusting. People can get sick

After loadshedding the staff disappears and and there's no one at the vegetable section. It's been a whole 30 minutes waiting...I continued shopping and still one is here.🤷‍♀️

A nice and spacious checkers that allows ease and f shopping. No loud music and no overcrowded aisles. The queues move fairly quickly and I was served by a nice lady at the checkout(till). Something MUST be done about the more than ten baskets missing handles and the shortage of trolleys!
