Pleasant experience. There were plenty of people on the floor to direct me to the aisle I was looking for. I was assisted very efficiently at the board cutting workshop and the gentleman assisting me was also very helpful and patient.

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the service we have received. Half of the materials we ordered were not delivered at all. When we tried calling to follow this up, our calls went unanswered. On the rare occasions that someone did answer, we were given nothing but excuses. We were clearly informed that if an order is placed on a Saturday, it would be delivered on the Tuesday. That story then changed, and we were suddenly told delivery would only take place on 5 February. After having to argue and push for what was promised, the delivery eventually arrived — only for half the materials to be missing. This is completely unacceptable. A paying customer should not have to fight, chase, and argue to receive what was ordered and paid for. The level of service we have experienced is ridiculous and far below what is expected. We want this matter sorted out immediately. Please advise, as a matter of urgency, when the outstanding materials will be delivered.

I'm soo disappointed I went to Builders on Sunday & went looking for paint when someone asked if they could help. I told him I was looking for white paint, I didn't mention that I needed it as a primer or pva because I didn't. I was looking at a particular paint when he recommended another paint & said it was a better quality. I blindly took it, didn't check anything because I thought I was getting good advice, but when I got home & started painting & after 3 coats when it looked like I barely scratched the surface, it looked like flippin water paint, I realised I was getting nowhere. I then looked at the paint drum & I saw that it was a PVA paint. Even though it is a PVA paint I shouldn't still have to apply soo many coats. What a disappointment I'll never buy this paint ever again (Berger Master paints) and I should have just gone to my local paint store, like I wanted to, in the first place. I have now wasted my time, my efforts & my money with nothing to show for it. I thought I'd go to Builders for a bigger variety & 'expert' advice but clearly I was mistaken. I will now have to go to my local paint store to purchase more paint that will definitely do the job & I'll be out of pocket since this was something I did NOT budget for. WHAT A DISAPPOINMENT!!!

Beautiful and well matained store. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Finding them nearby to assist was a challenge. Not enough personal was stationed at different departments.

I am very dissapointed with the fact that we were told on Monday morning 2 Feb 2026 that the glue machine for the edging of a board that we had cut had to warm up and we would be required to wait 30 minutes. We agreed. After 30 minutes, we were told that the machine had not reached the desired heat (120) as yet but that they needed a further 10 minutes. This went on until an hour had passed. Only when we conplained, were we told that they had encountered a problem with the machine on Saturday 31 Jan already but given that the issue appeared to persist on Monday, they eventually logged a call for a technician to repair the machine. After 1 hour!!! Why were we not informed up front that there was a problem with the machine and that we may encounter an undue delay. In which case, we would have immediately opted NOT to wait and waste our time!!! There were at least 5 other people waiting behind us!!! This is unacceptable and I expect better and more proactive customer service!!

I work in Massmart engineering from india. Visited this place with my colleague. Excellent place to buy decor, construction materials, plants, electronics etc. you have installation product as well. Come and buy from here, great offers, store is massive.
