Outstanding Service at Makro I recently had an exceptional shopping experience at Makro that I feel compelled to share. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the level of customer service provided by the team. The store manager set the tone for the entire visit with their professionalism and genuine willingness to help. They made sure I felt welcomed and ensured my needs were being met throughout my time there. The fridge appliance salesperson Lezel deserves special recognition for their expertise and patience. They took the time to walk me through all the options, explaining the features and benefits of different models without any pressure to make a quick decision. Their product knowledge was impressive, and they helped me find exactly what I needed within my budget. Mbali was another standout member of the team who went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Their friendly demeanor and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare to encounter such consistently high-quality customer service across multiple staff members, but this Makro location has clearly cultivated a culture of excellence. The team’s dedication to ensuring customers have a positive experience is evident, and it’s made me a loyal customer. I highly recommend this Makro store to anyone looking for not just great products, but also outstanding service. I would like to thank Marcel and Ntobeko in deliveries. These are the only two people that actually answer their phones at the store. The receptionist is overwhelmed by the amount of calls she receives on a daily basis. I spent over 60k in the store and after sales service honestly is disgusting salesperson never called you back after you paid for your items. Especially when you have a problem left numerous messages to date not a single call returned. Had a problem with one of the items salespersons no longer to be found neither did the manager assist. Besides these two people above no one else cared to actually assist going forward. If it wasn't for these two people I would return the entire order of 20k. Honestly they deserve the commission for sales. Honestly the price is not worth for all the stress you go through. I bought a washing machine and dishwasher from the store the Beko promoter has not called me up till today it's been over a week or 2. The hisense promoter is absolutely useless doesn't know his product I asks question he stands far away and just says I don't know. A very big thank you to Marcel and Ntobeko.

In store service not the best but also not bad, however Online Orders - another ball game on its own. Second time now we ordered online and all products showed as available, however when we received the order, the famous line of, 1 or more of your items was cancelled and refund will take place in 3 - 5 workong days.. Why items still shows as in stock and the website not ubdating it, I don't understand. And then weeks after you still struggle to get a refund. We had to follow up numerous time with regards to the refund otherwise they keep quiet.

Excellent service from the Online Order team! 👏 I always choose this store as a pickup spot for my essentials & I'm glad I had no issues changing my order from delivery to pickup this past weekend. Keep up the great work always 😁

DO NOT BUY ONLINE!!! Bought items online in Jan, delivery promised date came and went, Feb now and still waiting for a refund. Even their own Customer Service department cant get a response from this store, pathetic and disgusting that they take your money and never refund you when they cant deliver your items. NEVER BUYING FROM THERE AGAIN. Woodmead Store is the best. Notice how the owner only responds to 5 star rating reviews only, thats exactly how they treat their customers, they avoid fixing issues.

Fantastic service received from Lezelia in the home appliances department. Went out of her way to give us all the necessary info, tell us what was on special, and assisted with organising deliveries. Highly recommend asking for her if you are looking for a washing machine, fridge etc. She is super friendly and kind.
