Umhlanga Dog and Cat Grooming Parlour

Under new management, owner is very loving and caring toward the pets. They have redone the place over the last few months. They accommodate our requests with regards to our dogs health needs. The groomer was very gentle and caring, which i appreciated alot. Will definitely take my dogs back.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Umhlanga Dog Grooming Parlor! They took such amazing care of my two pups, Oreo and Bobo, and you can tell they truly love what they do. One of the best parts was being able to watch the whole grooming process, it was so reassuring to see how gentle, patient, and caring they were every step of the way. My dogs came home looking absolutely adorable, smelling fresh, and most importantly, happy and relaxed. It means so much to find a groomer I can fully trust with my fur babies. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d recommend them to anyone who wants their pets to be treated with love and kindness. 💕🐾

Horrible experience. My Pomeranian had his nails clipped so short that his vein started to bleed. The groomer just wiped him up and went to complete her next dog. I asked for something to help stop the bleeding they had nothing but disinfectant spray. The owner didnt even contact me to find out how my boy is doing or if he needed medical attention apart from paying the charge of the grooming i still had to purchase wound spray. Highly disappointing service. Not recommended

Thank you for being so patient and caring to Leo. He looks so neat and tidy. All staff was so friendly and treated Leo so well. Thank you again.

Good day The staff are reckless with the pets A driver was driving too fast and reckless My family almost got knocked by the driver of Umhlanga cat and dog… I was just outside the shop by crescent…. The driver came speeding towards me STOP USING THIS RECKLESS COMPANY THEY NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ILL DISCIPLINE… I HOPE THEY CHANGE THEIR ACTIONS thanks 🙏🏽

I would not recommend these guys. I took my teacup yorkie there when he was 3months onld just to wash and trim his hair. Appointment was given but when I got back to pick him up he was washed, still sitting in the cage. So I waited and while they combed and washed my poor baby her was crying so much my heart was so sort to here my baby cry. The lady at the waiting area even saw me and she had to go inside and tell them that I was there. Imagine what my baby would have been put through if I was not wiaitng for for him. Ever since, I have been taking him to Barking dogs in rinaldo road and he loves his spa time there....

Umhlanga Dog and Cat Grooming Parlour at the crescent in umhlanga. I am writing to express my disappointment with the service my dog recently received at your establishment. As a loyal customer who chose your parlor based on its reputation, I expected a level of care and professionalism that unfortunately was not met. During my dog’s appointment on 13 December 2024, the grooming was performed incorrectly, and the result was unacceptable. It appeared that the cut was deliberately done poorly, which I find highly concerning and unprofessional. Furthermore, the attitude of your staff during this visit was shockingly rude and disrespectful, adding to an already unpleasant experience. Please I urge you not to take your dogs to this establishment I sent my dog with full of fur and he comes shaved right down right before our Christmas shoot. ——————— You’re asking me why would they give my dog a deliberate bad cut. Please ask your staff as that’s what I was told therefore it was fair to let other people know of this experience. There were multiple clients there that were shocked at the treatment we received.
