It was a quick break away with my children and friend. The property is a hidden away with tranquil views. The house is well equipped and comfortable with WIFI. Just a note if you have a low car there is a long dirt road you need to navigate, it is well maintained but be aware it is quite a long road

I am very disappointed with the service from this establishment. We made a booking yesterday and they cancelled it via inbox on booking.com this morning saying the roads were wet. Instead of cancelling the booking properly on Booking.com they only sent an inbox message. I have called and WhatsApped them and my messages are being read with no response at all. Because they have not cancelled on their side the booking still shows as active on Booking.com and we cannot get the refund process started. This is unprofessional and has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I hope they improve their communication and follow the correct process in future.

The Jacuzzi overlooking the river quickly became our favorite spot – there’s nothing quite like soaking in warm, bubbling water while listening to the sounds of nature and watching the river flow gently past. It was peaceful, private, and incredibly rejuvenating. There's a more luxurious house just up the road if you are looking for a luxury escape The attention to detail and care from the hosts was truly next level. Every need was anticipated, and every request was met with a smile. We were made to feel like royalty – yet still right at home. It’s rare to find that balance, but Wilgeboomdrift nails it. We had the most tranquil few days at Wilgeboomsdrift, and it feels as if we have been away for weeks! It was so amazing to wake up and hear the birds, also to see the otters playing in the river and amazing sightings on the game drive.||Ben, Monica and Barend were such pleasant hosts and made sure that we didn't need a thing. The messages we received, to explain how to drive there were spot on & made us feel as if they really cared. The house was clean, crispy linen & towels, everything we needed in terms of kitchenware, huge fridge, ice, the most amazing granite tables in the kitchen and outside!||This will definitely be one of our future go-to places. Wilgeboomsdrift Safaris is one the best places I visited so far. Zonica the admin lady was professional when I started with the booking process. After that that Monica and Ben the host were vey professional and caring I ever seen. They make you feel like yo are part of their family. I appreciated all the phone calls I received from them I was on my way. Also assistance with our luggage proved that they understand the basic principles of hospitality industry. Also when we at at the property the prompt response was on another level.I also enjoyed the game drive we went to. Lastly I will like to say that is one best holiday I ever had , having a house with fridge, stove, gas and electric,microwave,Ice machine, dishwasher , all the cutlery you need and on top of that the view of the river and hippos what can I ever ask for.Thank you Wilgeboomsdrift Safaris for such a quality experience , you have beome part of my family.Anyone who want to go there don't think twice , go you will definitely have time of your life.
