Summerplace Game Reserve

We appreciated the constant communication and absolutely incredible five star service. We were treated like the only guests on the reserve. The food is really tasty too. The meals were delivered to our room really quickly. We stayed at the Saringa cottage and it was so beautiful and serene. All our requests were attended to and accommodated instantly. I highly recommend Summerplace and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for hosting us. Not forgetting Ruan, the best game drive guide in the World.

One of my favorite places. Peace, views, bushveld, pet friendly. Love being welcomed by the Banners and their team (especially all the dogs and the occasional cat!). Accommodations elegant and clean and decor is outstanding: homely but very classy. MTB trails may be some of the best in SA, from Enduro tech to a nice game viewing chill. Just come here. You will.come back.

We just love Summerplace. Every time we leave, we question why we didn't stay longer. Our home away from home is perfect and well-appointed. We had some delicious meals in the restaurant and the coffee is tops! The mountain bike trails are amazing. There are trails for every grade of rider, and they traverse some really beautiful areas of the bush. It is always a treat to see Sable, Roan, Kudu, Impala, Zebra and other animals during our rides. The birdlife is incredible, and that is why we need much more time there to soak it all in. Dave and Simone are wonderful hosts. Jerry-Lee made us feel so welcome and she was very informative and communicative. We will be back for much longer next time!

On the 27 December 2025, we visited the place for the first time, we enjoyed. The reception, food, pool site and game drives was 👌. How can I forgot our tour guide, thank you Mr Aaron, for your kind welcome and drives.

We had an amazing stay at Summerplace Game Reserve! Everything exceeded expectations, from the beautiful surroundings to the warm hospitality. Truly a memorable experience and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for a quite time then this is your place. The service is exceptional. The hosts are Amazing. We booked the luxury tent and oh man the peace and quite it came with is out of this world. Highly, highly recommend it.

We visited the Restaurant and had the 3 Corce meal ........ It was absolutely lovley. Definitely worth it
