Game Brits Mall

Got what we came for, a Intex pool for our kids. The store is a typically run retail chain. The staff weren’t very helpful and the store was empty jy the entrance, this created some confusion for us. I did not expect anything more from Game. Al in all not a horrible experience but also no customer service.

Wanted to buy a fridge Sunday 8 March. Not one person available to help us. Asked an employee (who was on her cellphone) for help but said not her department. Looked for someone/anyone for assistance with no luck. Very frustrating and no service at all. Don't even deserve 1 star. Will buy a fridge elsewhere.

Went in on Saturday to get prices on gas hobs, service was excellent, and even though we had strange questions they consult their system and answer all the questions very well.

The service is terrible. Standing in line waiting to be helped. There are only 2 cashiers open and working as slow as possible no matter how long the line was.

Poorest of the poor in service delivery.😭 Exactly twenty days ago I took my laptop in for repairs, a month and few days after buying it there. The laptop had suddenly switched off, was unable to put it back on and it wouldn't charge. Getting someone to attend to me was a struggle until I bumped into the lady who assisted me when I bought it. She referred me to one of her colleagues "stand in for repairs manager as it was a holiday ". That lady wasn't interested in assisting, told me she can't locate the slip on their transactions for that specific day as I had lost my slip when I was throwing the box away. Left the laptop there ever since 20th April with a promise that the relevant person will call me the following day to arrange for repairs. Been waiting ever since, no call, no communication whatsoever. Today when I got there to enquire and to complain about lack of communication I was told about a 21day repair rule. Only to find that nothing had been done since the day I left the laptop there. Only today my laptop was booked for repairs, no explanation as to why. The only excuse I got was "I was never told anything about your laptop mam, it was never reported to me", this is the same person who is supposed to ensure that clients equipment gets repaired and returned to them safely. Mind you I been using my cellphone to type school work as this laptop was bought specifically for school purposes. Had to use my time and petrol for nothing! Told the staff that I'm not happy, even requested a direct number or email to complaints department, no one has it. Rating Game Brits one star is even too much for me, would never recommend this store to anyone.

Giving this shop 1 star is probably to high. This Game shop has had a poor service problem for years now and they cannot get out of the rut. The employees does not seem to be happy to be at work, and good luck trying to find any assistance from the counters or in the isles. The bad news is that the shop manager is not interested to hear from customers and/or to improve the customer service. So unfortunate, but take heart...there are plenty of the same products from other shops in the area.

The store retains all the standards, cleanliness and discipline we've expect from the Massmart. The store is well organised and easy to navigate. The shelves were well stock and this was perfect stop for all our forgotten items on 1 January 2019 As a shareholder it's make me proud to own a part of this company.
