Pets Aquaria - Strand

My first experience was amazing, such kind souls working there and even gave me a gift on my first big purchase, so grateful❤️🤲

Great value for money and friedly staff.

They have a good variety of all kinds of pet products, the prices are mostly reasonable and the staff are very friendly and helpful, BUT I was deeply saddened by the fish section, and here's why: - 2 of the 5 betta fish in stock were covered in what looked like a thick layer of slime/fungus - all of their betta fish were kept in small tubs that likely don't hold more than 400ml of water - they keep the saddest/dullest looking neon tetras I've ever seen in my life (see photo) - all of their tanks have 2 massive sponge filters that violently bubble at the surface (see photo), causing the fish to be tossed around in the tanks - I found 3 dead fish in their tanks - some of the fish had bad fin rot - the tanks were not lit up, so everything is super gloomy, making it difficult to properly inspect the fish This store desperately needs someone who knows fish to properly take care of the fish section. At this stage, I wouldn't expect the fish in this store to live very long.

They were very helpful . I needed advice regarding my goldfish. New for me . And they explained everything. Very happy with their service. Thank you for helping me and giving me great advice.

I have been to many pet shop in my life, and Pets Aquaria will always be number 1 go to. These guys are always pleasant, helfful and knowledgeable. The store is immaculately clean and fresh smelling. I love going there.

Always friendly service, and prices in town👍🏻
