SPAR Cullinan

I am giving a one because of the cashiers, not well trained at all, attitude and lack of professionalism, chewing gum and talking to each other whilst helping you. Spar is convenient and there is no need to travel far but we end up driving further because of the poor service from the cashiers, this has been happening for years, no improvement at all

These days, shopping at the Cullinan Spar, is anything but a pleasant experience. Cleaners, constantly closing off aisles with traffic cones to wash the floors; the large trollies, used for re-stocking the shelves are just left there – blocking the aisles; employees screaming and shouting at the top of their voices, "talking" to their pals; deafening "music," played straight from Hell – the list goes on and on. But worst of all: the fruit and vegetable area. First off, the quality of the fresh produce is waaay below standard. Wilted, rotten, past their BB date, and poorly packaged. It looks as if they have come to a tragic end - in a pyramid – during the time of Tutankhamen. And, as if that’s not enough, the walkways at the fruit and vegs area are much too narrow for shoppers to pass one another. You constantly have to back-pedal every time someone comes down a lane, or wait, while slow shoppers decide what they want to buy. No. Honestly. We used to enjoy shopping here. But now we make a 20 km round trip to the nearest supermarket to do our shopping.

Today the cashier stole my data she till everything then when I'm about to give my rewards no she quickly insert hers I asked why you did that she said sorry I now can give my numbers i asked her what's the point because you know the aquafresh Colgate comes with +100mb which u now took with your rewards numbers some of these cashiers are stealing from the customers please address it.

Absolutely ridiculous place a order for delivery have been waiting 3 hours just to be told he will be leaving now. What an actual joke. Spar wake up.

Spar cullinan is one of the best. I love their food especially the bakery and chikka stall. Though these days their services have changed, disrespectful stuff & food quality 👎….

We stayed at a Self Catering Unit on Oak Street Cullinan for 7 days about three weeks ago. The Self Catering Unit was within walking distance from the Self Catering Unit and it was very convenient for us. Especially the opening times and the well presented and stocked grocery store. On a warm Friday morning we had a funeral and I popped in at the SPAR Cullinan and purchased some water for the funeral goers. Upon returning to Cape Town and working through my monthly credit card statement I noticed that I was double charged. I managed to work through the SPAR Head office and the Operations Manager of the SPAR at Cullinan who contacted me and swiftly addressed the concern I had and processed a credit. To my surprise SPAR Cullinan processed a credit for more then what I was double charged for. Upon reading through the messages (Email and WhatApp) and talking to SPAR they seem to have endless problems with network connectivity. I also understand that there is a solution on it’s way to resolve the problem for the Cullinan community. What struck me despite the challenges they face in a small community like Cullinan with network issues and various other dependencies the town council should address and provide the people at SPAR still treat their customers with respect, take ownership and treat them fair. Thank you SPAR Cullinan you have raised the bar when it comes to respect, ownership and fairness.
