Makro Springfield

Went to exchange a faulty product. Seamless service and extremely helpful staff. I saw staff wheeling trolleys for the elderly, explaining machinery (I was in the sports area) to patrons and a generally relaxed environment for what was a busy Sunday morning. The cashier was courteous, the floor manager greeting everyone. A pleasant shopping experience.

Always a pleasure shopping here! The store is spacious with a very clear and well organised display, making it easy to find everything. Prices are very good compared to other stores, and the variety is excellent. Staff are helpful and the overall shopping experience is always smooth. I’m always happy to shop at Makro Springfield, highly recommended!

The place is great the parking bays have plenty space you wont accidently bump into another car and they are plenty parkjng bays the store is easy to navigate and you will find alot of helpful staff on the floor. The store is huge and well stocked in items.

Just to share my experience! It's always a great pleasure shopping here at Makro in Springfield with my family. One of the wonderful things is that you will be greeted with beautiful smiling faces everywhere by the staff, who are always willing to go the extra mile to assist. The staff are well trained with a touch of customer service and satisfaction each time you ask for help. Even at rush hours, you will find them smiling and more than willing to help. The store is always neat and well kept (they must keep it up); every shelf is well organized and items are well labelled for easy shopping. The prices are unbelievably unbeatable. Anusha Beeharie "the manager" so I was told is the most rude person I have ever come across. Firstly she let one of her neighborhood friends cut the line and pay before all of us that were patiently waiting. Secondly when I was trying to pay for my items they rudely told me to go make a Makro card and the manner that it was done was disgusting. All in all this could have been solved by them telling me I can use my cellphone number instead. Horribly bad experience with the staff here.

Firstly we went on Friday (6th Feb) to buy the fridge, since we did not have transport to take it then, they said we must come back on Sunday. We came back on Sunday with the transport and they didn't have any stock. They said I must order it online, I did. I wrote the address where the fridge was supposed to be delivered, when I looked at the summary I saw that they wrote my address instead of the one that I had written. I went to the customer desk that deals with online purchases, the lady contacted Cornubia branch and everything was sorted or so I thought. To my dismay the delivery guys bring the fridge to Pinetown instead of Durban North. Now we have to pay to transport it to Durban North. It is so annoying to deal with such incompetence.

In my 15 years of shopping at Makro, I have never experienced customer service this horrible . At the Springfield Returns Department, I to return a 2L juice with visible mould inside and outside the bottle, along with a sticky brown residue. I also had to bring back three other sealed Liqui-Fruit boxes from the same pack. When I asked the consultant, Londi Mnguni, about this, she shrugged, showed no interest, and refused to even look at the product. When I questioned her concern for customer wellbeing especially since the juice had been consumed she said "no." She went on to suggesting calling her manager because she won’t mind having a look so I requested to see her manager who was willing to inspect the items. I expected basic acknowledgment and concern, which Londi failed to provide. I trust that her manager, Tracy, will address this matter and ensure appropriate customer service training, as her conduct was completely unacceptable.
