Celtis Mews Cattery

My cat, Alex has been staying here since he was a kitten i.e 7 years. When we travel, it's quite a worry about who's going to feed him, will he be ok, is he safe. Well, Isabel is certainly the best when it comes to giving you peace of mind that your fur baby will be well taken care of. Our cat is always well taken care of, Happy, has a spacious area and is fed promptly. Isabel is a wonderful person who truly loves what she does. She checks on each cat, ensures they've eaten etc. On Alex's last he got terribly ill, she quickly notified us that he wasn't well, however we were out of reach. She took it upon herself to rush our cat to the vet to seek treatment. She saved our kitty's life thanks to her gut intuition, kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend Celtis Mews! There is certainly no better place for your fur baby to stay.

Worthwhile and safe. I dropped my 8 year old cat for the weekend, and she had a lovely time. The property is beautiful - with clean and protected kennels. The weekend I dropped my cat off, there were other kitty-neighbours as well, so my cat wasn't completely isolated. The kennels have warm blankets and a converted dustbin for an enclosed space as well, as well as a scratching pad and food and water. A great service, that's well priced. Would go again.

This is a late review as I had my cat at this cattery 1 year & half ago. I had intended a 2 week vacation but extended it a week further due to family. Even the vet I went to told me that Celtis Mews is a fantastic place to leave my kitty while I holiday. I had never left my cat anywhere before & had no idea what to expect but was assured by the owner of the cattery Isabel that my cat would be fine. Upon collecting my cat, Isabel was not at the cattery but in her place she left a family member( her brother inlaw). My cat had no food in her bowl but the worst was finding the blanket in her carrier wet from rain. Mittens also smelly, I thought they gave the animals a bath & kept them clean. While I was having a great holiday my poor cat was miserable & not well taken of. I would not recommend this place & given the fact that this was my first cattery the experience has left me not willing to leave my cat anywhere no matter what the good reviews say.
